With roughly 13,000 already in the pot, there was significant raising and three-betting action occurring culminating in a raise to 75,000 by Demosthenes Kiriopoulos. Philipp Wenzelburger, seated in the big blind position, opted to call.

The flop revealed 73A, prompting Wenzelburger to go all in, which Kiriopoulos promptly called.

The appearance of the 2 on the turn caused Wenzelburger, the chip leader of flight 1b, to rise from his seat, seemingly resigned to his fate. However, fortune favored him as the river brought the 6, completing a flush on the board and resulting in a split pot.

Wenzelburger expressed his joy, while Kiriopoulos shook his head in disbelief at the unexpected turn of events.
