On the J♣ turn, Morbee checked to his opponent, who fired out a bet of 30,000, forcing a fold from Morbee and allowing Putz to scoop the pot.

Cowen was ahead in a race and remained so after the 9♠8♥Q♠ flop.

However the A♠ rolled off on the turn to put Rutigliano in front, and the 2♣ river completed the board and sent the pot to Rutigliano.

As his opponent raked in the pot, Cowan remarked to his table mate, Mustapha Kanit, "I felt good about jacks for once".

Mokri then raised to 20,000 and Oterhals called. The river was the 8♦ and Oterhals checked to Mokri, who bet 32,000. Oterhals called and Mokri showed K♠6♦ for a pair of kings.

Oterhals, though, had J♥5♥ for two pair to win the pot.
