Alexandre Reard shoved from the small blind for 76,000 and was called by Jonathan Guedes in the big blind who had a covering stack to put Reard at risk.
Alexandre Reard: 9♣9♦
Jonathan Guedes: 8♥8♠
Reard was in great shape with the higher pocket pair and remained ahead on the A♣J♥2♠A♠Q♥ runout to score a full double up through Guedes.
Rutger Hennen opened to 20,000 from the button and saw Marius Gierse and Alexander Seibt call from the blinds.
Hennen continued for 45,000 on the A♠Q♣A♦ flop and only Seibt called. The latter then check-called for 45,000 on the 9♥ turn. Seibt, who had less than 90,000, moved all in on the K♥ river and was snap-called.
Seibt tabled A♥3♠ while Hennen had A♣J♥. Seibt then celebrated the chop pot, with Hennan calling the poker vlogger lucky as the king and queen on the board nullified his jack kicker.
On the next deal, Daniel Oterhals opened to 20,000 from the hijack. Seibt and Francisco Benitez called from the blinds. Oterhals bet 17,000 on the Q♠6♥5♦ flop. Only Benitez called. The 2♦ turn and 7♥ river checked through to showdown and Benitez took down the pot with his Q♥2♥.
The following hand, Rohit Mariwalla opened to 21,000 from early position before Seibt jammed for 188,000 from the button. Action folded back to Mariwalla.
"I don't think I can fold this one," said Mariwalla, who only just had Seibt covered. He eventually put in calling chips and the cards went on their backs.
Alexander Seibt: 10♣10♠
Rohit Mariwalla: 9♣9♠
Seibt was in great shape for a double up, which he received after remaining best on the sweat-free 7♥4♠3♥2♦4♦ runout.
Action folded to Niclas Thumm in the small blind, who completed. Silviu Baltateanu was in the big blind and he raised to 33,000. Thumm quickly reached for chips and three-bet to 85,000. Baltateanu called.
On the K♣K♠9♠ flop, Thumm check-called versus a bet of 30,000 from Baltateanu.
The Q♥ turn was checked through by both players, as was the 5♣ river.
Thumm showed A♥A♠ for a pair of aces. Baltateanu tapped the table and mucked his hand.
George Rotariu bet 12,000 from early position on a flop of J♥8♥J♣ and Derk van Luijk called in the small blind. Sebastian Malec then raised to 42,000 in the big blind and only Rotariu called.
The turn was the K♠ and Malec slid forward 124,000. Rotariu again called and the 3♥ fell on the river.
Malec slowed down and checked, and Rotariu quickly checked back. Malec showed 9♣8♠ for two pair, but Rotariu had Q♦J♦ for trips to win the pot.
"Easy life," tablemate Rania Nasreddine told Rotariu after the hand.
"Too bad the river was a heart. I couldn't bet," Rotariu replied.
Maxi Lehmanski opened to 20,000 under the gun and received calls from Christophe Morbee on the button and Birger Ohl in the big blind.
The 4♦7♥J♣ flop was checked through by all players.
On the 10♦ turn, Ohl led out with a bet of 35,000. Lehmanski called and Morbee got out of the way.
The K♥ rolled off on the river, and Ohl checked to his opponent. Lehmanski moved all in, putting Ohl to the test for the rest of his stack. Ohl blew out his cheeks and sighed, then sent his hand into the muck.
Jovan Kenjic opened to 22,000 from the cutoff and Dan Smith defended from the big blind.
The flop came 7♠7♣2♥ and Smith check-called a 12,000 continuation bet from Kenjic.
Both players checked the 2♦ turn, leading to the 4♠ river. Smith bet 13,000, Kenjic raised to 70,000, and after about twenty seconds, Smith opted to fold.
Guillermo Gordo was all in for 190,000 in the hijack and up against Bryan Paris on the button.
Guillermo Gordo: 4♦4♠
Bryan Paris: 9♥9♣
Gordo was crushed by Paris' bigger pair as the board ran out A♥3♦10♦A♦10♠, counterfeiting both pocket pairs.
Paris' nine-kicker to the two pair on board sent him the pot and sent Gordo to the rail.
David Docherty raised to 24,000 under the gun and was called by Jeremie Zouari in the cutoff and big blind Guillermo Gordo.
The flop came A♣8♣5♥ and action checked to Zouari who bet 26,000. Only Docherty called.
Both players checked the Q♦ turn and the K♥ fell on the river. Docherty then moved all in.
Zouari burned a time bank before calling for his last 115,000. He showed A♦J♠ for a pair of aces, but Docherty had flopped a set with 8♠8♦ to send Zouari to the rail.
Mohamad El Rais was also eliminated by Jozef Cibicek at the same time on another table.
