Jaksland Raises it Away on the River

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Konstantin Farber opened 2,500 under the gun and both Jason Anand and Peter Jaksland made the call on his left.

The dealer spread a flop of 743 and Farber continued for 4,000. Anand mucked, while Jaksland stuck around.

The 6 turn received checks from both players, to see the A river.

Farber fired a bet of 4,000. Jaksland splashed a raise to 14,600 and Farber's cards instantly flung into the muck as the dealer pushed the pot toward Jaksland.

Laidlaw Caught Bluffing on River

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action was on the river on a board of A243J when Dan Laidlaw shoved all in for less than 20,000 chips. Leandro Dirlewanger eventually made the call with the bigger stack.

Laidlaw turned over Q4x for a low pair that he'd turned into a bluff. He got up to take his leave as Dirlewanger tabled AA for a set of aces to win the pot.

Choffardet Hero-Calls At the Wrong Time

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

With some 32,000 in the middle to the A537K river, Fabian Niederreiter moved all-in. Mathieu Choffardet riffled the 17,000 chips he had behind and went into the tank, so long that the clock was called on him.

During the additional thirty seconds, Choffardet called with the KQ for a turned flush draw and rivered pair of kings. It was no good, as Niederreiter held 33 for the flopped set.

In a larger three-bet pot to the Q104 flop, Thierry Vasseur and Benjamin Gros invested 15,000 each to see the J on the turn. Gros checked and Vasseur jammed for 37,400, which big stack Gros reluctantly called.

Thierry Vasseur: AK
Benjamin Gros: AQ

Vasseur needed to avoid a king only to miss out on a double and did so thanks to the 6 river.

Wheeler Means Business

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jason Wheeler raised to 2,600 from early position.

"I came here to make a lot of money this trip," Wheeler announced as both the blinds elected to call.

The J86 flop saw the action check to Wheeler, who bet out 3,600, enough to prompt two quick folds.

"I'm not picking on you," Wheeler reassured his opponents as he tabled QQ.
