Kyte Sends Zhechev Out

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Jon Kyte opened to 1,300 from the hijack and was called by Niclas Thumm on the button and Saad Ravate in the small blind. Ivan Zhechev announced he was all in for approximately 17,000 from the big blind and Kyte also went all in for more.

Both Thumm and Ravate got out of the way and hands were revealed.

Ivan Zhechev: 33
Jon Kyte: 66

Zhechev would need some help with his underpair, but the QK94K runout changed nothing and Kyte collected the rest of Zhechev's chips.

Kono Gets River Value

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Reiji Kono opened in middle position to 1,700 and was called by Jimmy Armougom, before Michael Uguccioni produced a three-bet in the cutoff to 6,500. Only Kono called.

On the 22K flop Kono check-called a bet of 2,300 from Uguccioni.

The 4 turn was checked through by both players.

The 3 rolled off on the river, bringing a potential flush, and Kono led out with a bet of 20,500, leaving himself only 7,800 behind.

Uguccioni took some time before making the call, but mucked his hand when he was shown 44 by Kono for a turned full house.

Benny Glaser

Action folded around to the blinds, where Benny Glaser called from the small blind and Niclas Thumm raised to 3,500 from the big blind. Glaser called.

Glaser check-called a 5,000 bet from Thumm on the 6J7 flop and then both players checked on the 5 turn.

The 7 completed the board and Glaser announced he was all in for approximately 20,000 total. Thumm shot Glaser a glance and slid his hand into the muck — awarding the pot to Glaser.

Gonzalez Doubles Through Lecoeuvre

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Action was picked up with an all in and a call between Jose Manuel Gonzalez, who was on the button, and Nicolas Lecoeuvre in the big blind. Gonzalez was covered but only just by Lecoeuvre.

Jose Manuel Gonzalez: 88
Nicolas Lecoeuvre: 44

Gonzalez was in good shape to double on the 65A flop, but the 3 turn gave Lecoeuvre an open-ended straight draw. He did not hit it however as the 10 river confirmed that Gonzalez would double up and leave Lecoeuvre incredibly short-stacked.

On the 67K flop Koja check-called a bet of 1,400 from Dupre.
