David Docherty had lost even more chips but then got a shove through versus Jean Paul Zaffran. Shortly after, he was the raiser against Giuseppe Rago from under the gun, who simply limp-jammed for his stack of fifty blinds. Docherty called for the 33,700 he had behind.

Nico De Cleen jammed over the top of an open raise only to find himself up against Pavlos Xanthopoulos, who was covered by a few big blinds.

The suited ace flopped a pair and wheel draw on 4♣3♥2♥ but the 4♥ turn as well as Q♥ river kept Xanthopoulos ahead, as he doubled for 23,900 with queens full of fours.

De Cleen was left with around eight blinds and departed shortly after when David Docherty made a flush.
