Faraut Cracks Aces to Bust Johnson

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Patrick Faraut opened to 800 under the gun and was met with a three-bet by Anton Johnson in middle position to 2,500.

Action folded to Laurent Michot in the big blind, who reached for chips and produced a cold four-bet to 9,500.

Faraut pondered his options for a moment, and announced all-in for around 36,000. Johnson got the rest of his chips quickly in the middle, while Michot folded, with Johnson at risk.

Anton Johnson: AA
Patrick Faraut: JJ

Faraut had run into Johnson's aces and before the flop Faraut asked the poker gods for a jack.

Sure enough the flop came out 9J10 to give Faraut top set and leaving Johnson drawing thin.

The 36 completed the runout, sending the unfortunate Johnson to the rail.
