Two short stacks got their near identical short stacks into the middle and it was Stephane Le Moing who was covered by the smallest of margins.

The Q♠8♠7♦10♣A♣ board gave Fontan Castrillon a set of queens and it was good enough to score the knockout. Both stacks were counted and the 28,500 of the Spaniard covered his table neighbor by a single chip.
Dennis Berglin moved all in for 13,000 from early position and Vincent Daynes called from the button. Ivan Stankov rejammed for 41,000 from the big blind, and Daynes quickly called as the slightly bigger stack.

Daynes was in great shape and secured the double elimination after the board ran out with the 4♠5♠7♥4♣2♦.
Elie Dib with the A♠K♣ and Sal Al Fakih with the A♦K♠ both had a coin flip as they were looked up by the table chip leader Mats Ullereng with the Q♥Q♣.
No ace or king came on the 9♣8♠3♥9♠5♥ runout and that sent two players to the rail.
"That was the best hand I had in a long time," Al Fakih bemoaned.
Mohamed Mokrani opened in the cutoff and Espen Nikolaisen three-bet to 11,000 next to act. The action folded back around to Mokrani, who took some time before four-bet jamming for about 50,000. Nikolaisen snap-called and both hands were tossed face up.

It was rough timing for Mokrani as he ran into the strongest hand in the deck. The dealer ran out the A♦9♣8♠10♦5♣ board, giving Nikolaisen a set of aces to eliminate Mokrani.
Radoslaw Kopec was seen all-in for his last 6,000 against Lander Lijo, and both hands were on their backs.

It was a classic race as the flop came 9♦3♣2♣, for Kopec's sevens to still be in the lead. The Q♥ hit the turn, changing nothing, but the A♣ river sent Kopec packing.
In a preflop contest between two shorter stacks, Aurelien Russo had the best of it with the A♠A♥. Radoslaw Kopec only showed 9♦9♣ for an inferior pair and couldn't catch any help on the Q♣Q♠J♣K♥A♣ board, which Gave Russo a full house.
Kopec was left short and busted, as did Lexy Gavin-Mather and Kyriakos Papadopoulos one table over.
On a heads-up turn of 7♠7♥2♣7♦, Karl Sandahl moved all-in for 22,000 and Joseph Chetrit beat him into the pot.
Sandahl tabled the 9♦9♣ for a full house but he had zero chance at survival as Chetrit revealed K♣7♣ for quads to make the 4♠ river a formality.
Samuel Prieto Roldan raised to 3,000 on the button and Lasse Lauritsen pushed for the starting stack in the big blind. The in initial raiser eventually called but had the slightly inferior kicker.

The kicker played on the 8♣7♦3♣8♥2♠ board for Lauritsen to double. Also featured on the table was Andrew Hulme, who busted shortly after.
Firoz Mangroe opened 2,500 and Alin Almasan three-bet 6,500 on the button. The action quickly folded back to Mangroe and he made the call.
The dealer fanned a flop of 10♠8♣3♣, and Mangroe check-raised the bet of 8,500 to 20,000. Almasan called, thinking Mangroe had moved all in and almost exposed his hand, but the dealer informed him quickly that there were still chips behind.
When the Q♣ hit the turn, Mangroe shoved his last 7,500 into the middle, and Almasan instantly called.

Mangroe flopped top pair, but was going to need to improve to beat the pocket kings of Almasan and the 3♦ river was no help as he exited the table.
