Diogo Coelho opened 6,000 in middle positon, and Lander Lijo jammed for 22,500 on the button. Coelho thought about it for a few seconds and made the call.
Lander Lijo: A♦A♣
Diogo Coelho: Q♥J♠
The board ran out Q♦7♥2♣2♠A♠, giving Lijo aces full for the double.
Jianping Cai opened to 6,000 from early position and was called by Azamat Tulepbergenov and Bernard Mendy. Roope Tarmi jammed for 44,5000 from the small blind before Cai moved in over the top, which folded out the remaining players.
Cai had Q♦J♦ and was behind Tarmi's Q♣Q♠. The K♥8♣7♦4♦3♣ runout gave Tarmi the double up and left Cai with 12,500.
The hand after, Mendy opened to 15,000 from the cutoff and called when Pardeep Bariach shipped in his stack of 30,000.
Pardeep Bariach: A♦7♠
Bernard Mendy: 4♦4♠
Bariach connected on the 7♣6♥10♦] flop and held out on the 5♦ and 5♣ river to collect the pot from the former pro football player.
Matthieu Lamagnere had knocked out the former big stack on their table to jump well above the average and then raised it up to 6,000 for Teodor Negrea as well as Laurent Leclerc to call out of the blinds.
On the K♦7♥7♦ flop, the action checked to Lamagnere and he bet 5,500. Negrea check-raised to 18,000 and won the pot.
Despite losing this minor pot, Lamagnere still has more than two times the average at his disposal.
Three ways to the K♦8♠6♠J♦ turn, Hael Al Labani in the big blind and Jovan Kenjic in the under-the-gun position checked. Mounim Kaddouri bet 23,000 and received two callers.
Al Labani then jammed the 7♥ river for the last 40,000 and Kenjic folded. Kaddouri asked for a count and called, then sighed vividly when he was shown the 9♦5♦ for a straight. Kaddouri mucked his K♠J♠ in disgust and dropped to a short stack.
"I lost ace-king suited to nines before, and tens versus ace-king," Al Labani recalled right before they went into the break.
Diogo Coelho opened 6,000 under the gun, and Louis Linard called on the button before Jonathan Abdellatif went into the tank, eying up his own stack. After a few more seconds of pondering, he jammed his last 12,000, and Coelho announced all-in, forcing Linard out.
Jonathan Abdellatif: K♥9♦
Diogo Coelho: 6♠6♥
The board ran out 3♥3♠3♣2♣K♣, giving Abdellatif threes full of kings to drag the pot.
