Mike Mettoudi opened to 5,400 from the small blind before Yuhang Chen jammed for 25,200 from the big blind. Mettoudi, the bigger stack, was in an uncomfortable spot but decided to call after some time in the tank.

Jean Dumartin raised from middle position to 2,500 and picked up four callers, including Stein Ove Sandahl in the small blind and Jason Wheeler in the big blind.

The flop came 743. Sandahl checked and Wheeler led for 4,800. Dumartin called and Sandahl called. The turn was the 4 and all three players checked.

The river came the 7. Sandahl checked and Wheeler bet 10,900. Dumartin made the call and Sandahl folded. Wheeler showed Q7 for a full house, sevens full of fours. Dumartin mucked and Wheeler added yet more chips to his stack.

Duco ten Haven raised from under the gun and was called by Souhayel Djaballah from the hijack. Claudio Di Giacomo and Mark Bitton also called from the blinds.

Ten Haven continued for 2,600 on the KQ2 flop before Djaballah raised to 8,000. The blinds folded before Ten Haven called.

The 10 turn checked through to the A river. Ten Haven led out for 3,100 but quickly folded after his opponent moved all in as the bigger stack.

The A85 flop hit the felt, and Chen checked before Tarnakin continued for 3,500. Only Teliani made the call.

Both players proceeded to check down on the 7 turn, and 9 river. Tarnakin tabled AJ, for top pair and Teliani mucked her hand.

Sergei Petrushevskii opened 2,500 under the gun, and both Jena Murray and Bo Liu called before Andreas Tomazou put in a three-bet to 8,500 on the button. Petrushevskii called while Murray and Liu got out of the way.

The dealer fanned a flop of 942, and Petrushevskii checked before Tomazou announced all-in, dropping a stack of blue across the line. Petrushevskii instantly called off his remaining stack of about 25,000 and both hands were tabled.

Paris is the City of Light, and yesterday at the 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour Paris €10,200 Mystery Bounty, the light shined brightest on Duco ten Haven.

The Dutch pro, who considers Paris a second home, is usually an online crusher but captured his first EPT title today at Le Palais des Congrès by defeating Quan Zhou heads-up to win the trophy and €126,500. In addition to the top prize, he also earned €117,500 in bounties, including one of the €50,000 top mystery bounty envelopes, as he began his festival here in Paris with a total score of €244,000, the best of his live poker career.
