With 31,000 in the middle to the 8♦2♣2♠9♠ turn, Azamat Tulepbergenov bet 40,000 and Mallory Frere went into the tank. He had fewer than that behind and eventually folded.

PokerStars has unveiled the full schedule for the 2024 European Poker Tour (EPT) season, which shows five destinations, including a return to EPT Paris and EPT Cyprus. Both Paris and Cyprus made their EPT debut in 2023, and they return for 2024, much to the delight of the players.
EPT Paris is the first stop of the 2024 European Poker Tour season. It takes place between February 14-25 at a new venue. The stunning Le Palais des Congres has a 120-table capacity, leading to a more extensive schedule for the festival. Cedric Billot, Associate Director for Live Events and Operations, believes the new-look EPT Paris could be one of the largest EPT festivals on record.
Joining the action on the K♣J♠3♥7♦ turn, Jeremy Baldisseri bet 6,000 in the hijack and Lander Lijo called on the button. Baldisseri then checked the A♣ on the river and Lijo bet more than 60,000, which had his opponent well covered.
A brief tank followed and then Baldisseri folded, getting shown the Q♣10♣ for Broadway by Lijo.
Action folded around to Vincent Guillon, who open shoved for 22,000 from late position. Chen isolated from the small blind with the bigger stack and players turned their cards.
Vincent Guillon: A♣K♠
Mengqi Chen: 10♠10♣
The board ran out 4♦8♣2♣9♣3♣. Both players made a flush on the river, Guillon's ace-high flush earning him the double up.
Dhiraj Sharma raised to 1,700 from middle position, Matthias Lipp reraised to 8,000, and Sharma called.
The flop came 6♣4♦10♥. Sharma checked and Lipp bet small for 2,000, which Sharma called. The turn was the 3♥ and Sharma checked again. Lipp bet 5,500 and Sharma once again called.
The river was the Q♣. Sharma checked for a third time and Lipp moved all in for 32,000. Sharma got the count and then made the call.
Lipp showed A♦K♠ for ace high that he'd turned into a bluff. Sharma showed 5♦5♠ for a pair of fives, making a hero call that earned him a huge pot. Lipp was eliminated right before the break.
Ulysse Harry jammed for the last 14,500 and Robin Palm called two seats over. Fouad Toujani then moved all-in over the top for 38,400 in the small blind and Palm sighed instantly, asked for an exact count and called after some 45 seconds.
Ulysse Harry: K♥J♥
Fouad Toujani: 9♥9♠
Robin Palm: 8♦8♠
Harry had a best case scenario with two live overcards and spiked one of them on the Q♥5♠4♠Q♦K♦ runout, while Toujani won the side pot.
Firoz Mangroe opened 2,500 and Alin Almasan three-bet 6,500 on the button. The action quickly folded back to Mangroe and he made the call.
The dealer fanned a flop of 10♠8♣3♣, and Mangroe check-raised the bet of 8,500 to 20,000. Almasan called, thinking Mangroe had moved all in and almost exposed his hand, but the dealer informed him quickly that there were still chips behind.
When the Q♣ hit the turn, Mangroe shoved his last 7,500 into the middle, and Almasan instantly called.
Firoz Mangroe: 10♦9♥
Alin Almasan: K♣K♦
Mangroe flopped top pair, but was going to need to improve to beat the pocket kings of Almasan and the 3♦ river was no help as he exited the table.
