Bad River for Talbot

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Marcelo Manfredini opened to 12,000 from middle position and was called by Nikola Sekler from the hijack. Kondah Abdelhadi and Parker Talbot called from the blinds.

Talbot led out for 12,000 on the 762 flop and only Manfredini called. Talbot sized up to 23,000 on the 2 turn and was called once more.

The Q completed the board and action checked through to showdown.

Talbot had 106, but was bested by his opponent's AQ.

"Bad River!" shouted Talbot.

Lewis Sent Packing

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Romain Lewis
Romain Lewis

Romain Lewis jammed for about 44,000 in early position, and the action folded around to Mats Ullereng in the big blind as he dropped a chip to make the call.

Romain Lewis: J10
Mats Ullereng: AK

Lewis was a small underdog but the Q106 flop gave him the lead with a pair of tens. It was short-lived though as the A fell on the turn, and Lewis couldn't complete his flush draw as the Q paired the board on the river.

Adinolfo Eliminated by Tous Rosich

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Bernard Mendy raised to 11,000 from under the gun and earned two callers in David Tous Rosich from the next seat and Alessandro Adinolfo.

The flop came 532 and it checked to Adinolfo, who bet 15,000. Mendy called only for Tous Rosich to check-shove for around 150,000. Adinolfo then also called all-in and Mendy vaulted out of his chair, exclaiming "ah putain," then folding.

Alessandro Adinolfo: 44
David Tous Rosich: QQ

The 8 turn and K river completed the board for Adinolfo to bust.

"You win?" Tous Rosich asked and Mendy replied "of course I win, king-high flush draw."

Double Knockout Boosts Dimitrov; Bubble Approaching Rapidly

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Only around 185 players remain and the latest all-in showdown reduced the field by two hopefuls in the following contest.

Fabien Jacqueline: J10
Tamer Kamel: AJ
Stefan Dimitrov: AQ

Dimitrov had the biggest stack and best hand against two opponents. The Q42 cemented his lead while he 3 turn gave Tamer Kamel some chop outs. Nothing changed with the 10 river and Dimitrov claimed the entire pot to move up to nearly half a million in chips.

It appears that this is not the lead, however, as Lukas Hafner has even more chips.
