Beresford made a set on the 1074 flop and filled up after the JJ runout. Afriat appeared frustrated at the runout.

The following hand, Blaz Zerjav raised to 25,000 from the cutoff. Beresford push all of his chips into the middle once again and was called by his opponent.

Beresford had KQ, and had Zerjav's KJ dominated. The 844 flop looked like Beresford would double again until Zerjav paired up on the J turn. The J river gave Zerjav a full house and the checkmark to oust the Englishman.

"Just gave them away," Afriat said as he looked down at his short stack.

Laidlaw Check-Calls Down as Ghossan Busts

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Daniel Laidlaw raised from late position and Stefan Dimitrov three-bet from the button. Georges Ghossan called all in from the big blind with a short stack of a few big blinds. Laidlaw also called the reraise and action went to the flop.

The flop came 42K. Laidlaw checked, Dimitrov continued for 50,000 and Laidlaw called. The turn was the 4. Laidlaw checked again and Dimitrov bet 110,000, which Laidlaw called.

The river came the 6. Laidlaw checked a third street and Dimitrov checked behind to showdown.

The all-in player Ghossan showed 55 for pocket fives. Dimitrov showed AJx for ace-high and was running a bluff. Laidlaw had K10 for a pair of tens to win the pot, increasing his own stack and sending Ghossan to the rail.

The K43 flop was on the felt already, and Rafal Kaczmarski who was in the big blind checked to Andrea Zigrossi. Zigrossi fired a bet of 30,000, and Kaczmarski called.

The J fell on the turn, and both players tapped the table to see the J river.

Kaczmarski checked once more before facing a bet of 45,000. He went into the tank for about 30 seconds before deciding to make the call. Zigrossi rolled over AK, flopping top pair top-kicker and Kaczmarski mucked his hand.
