Soika Finishes His Martini

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Ihar Soika
Ihar Soika

Julien Martini was spotted all-in and at risk for his last 29,000 in the cutoff and one of the table big stacks looked him up in Ihar Soika on the button.

Julien Martini: AK
Ihar Soika: 99

Along with his two overcards, Martini also flopped a flush draw on 872. However, the 5 turn and 10 river were both blanks to send the French poker pro out of the tournament.

Soika pulled ahead of Sergio Coutinho on the same table and two tables over, Volga Uyanik is another big stack.

Speranza Pulls Off Turn Three-Bet Bluff

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Gianluca Speranza
Gianluca Speranza

The board read 27210 and around 50,000 was in the middle, in a battle between Gianluca Speranza in the small blind and Hwany Lee on the button.

Speranza had put out a bet of 24,000, only to be faced with a raise to 59,500 by Lee.

Speranza pondered the position for a while, and ultimately moved all in for another 190,000.

Lee, who had 55,000 left behind, went deep into the tank. After around three minutes, he sighed and made the fold.

Speranza exhaled deeply, looking relieved, and turned over A9 for ace-high and raked in a chunky pot. Lee tapped the table in acknowledgement of his opponent's aggressive play.

Aces No Good for Nolet

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Florian Duta
Florian Duta

Florian Duta opened to 4,000 under the gun and was met with a three-bet to 12,500 by Guillaume Nolet two seats along.

Duta thought for a while and then produced a four-bet to 27,000. After quite a bit of thought, Nolet just called.

The flop came K2Q and Duta slid out a bet of 9,000, which Nolet called.

On the 5 turn Duta continued with a bet of 17,000 and Nolet again called, again after a fair bit of thought.

On the 8 river Duta emptied the clip and moved all in for 47,500. Nolet thought about it, but made a reasonably quick call.

Duta showed KK for top set and Nolet had AA for a pair of aces in a complete cooler.

As he raked in the pot, Duta said "Unlucky, I thought so, it was either aces or queens".

Hissou Seeks Value on the River

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Sirzat Hissou raised to 4,000 in early position before Aldo Nobile three-bet to 12,000 on the button. Hissou called once action got back to him.

The flop came 2KJ and Nobile continued for 11,000. Hissou called again and they both checked the K turn.

The river was the 9 and Hissou led out for 8,000. Nobile called, only to muck once Hissou showed J6 for two pair. Nobile got out of his seat and paced around the table muttering to himself for a few moments while Hissou stacked up the chips.

FPS Main Event champion Mateusz Moolhuizen and Yulian Bogdanov are also at this table.
