"What a F**king Hold"; Zervos Earns Massive Double Off Binder

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Alexios Zervos
Alexios Zervos

Alexios Zervos was on the button and three-bet to 22,000 before the flop. Bernhard Binder called in middle position.

The flop came 5J2 and Zervos bet another 18,000. Binder called and the 4 fell on the turn.

Zervos then bet 55,000 and Binder moved all in. Zervos shrugged and called for 226,000.

Binder showed 65 for a pair to go along with straight and flush draws, while Zervos had AA. The river came the 10 and Zervos pumped his fist as he held on to earn the massive double up.

"What a f**king hold," he yelled out as the enormous pile of chips was pushed in his direction.

Big Stacks Clash as Hissou and Aerts Face Off

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Pieter Aerts and Sirzat Hissou were on a turn of 73JJ. Aerts checked from the big blind, after which Hissou added 11,000 chips to the pot of 25,500 in the hijack.

Aerts made the call and the J river brought trips on the board. Aerts checked once more, resulting in a 32,000 bet from Hissou. Aerts tanked for a bit before flicking in the call and Hissou instantly mucked his hand.

Aerts won the pot without having to show his cards and neared half a million chips as a result.

Fedorca Stops The Bleeding; Chats His Way to a Double

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Gheorghe Fedorca
Gheorghe Fedorca

Joining the action on the Q648 turn, Francisco Perez Moreno bet 5,500 out of the big blind. Gheorghe Fedorca then raised to 14,500 in the cutoff and Perez Moreno called.

That led them to the K on the river, on which the Spaniard checked. Fedorca moved all-in near instantly and Perez Moreno sighed loudly, sunk into his chair, groaned and asked for a count which happened to be 48,500.

What followed was a tank of more than three minutes during which both players chatted back and forth. Fedorca was smirking, albeit hiding half of his face behind a scarf and he was the one to do most of the talking.

"No flush ... what do you have, a queen?" Fedorca asked.

Perez Moreno responded "bad combo ... very bad hero call," without coming to a conclusion just yet.

Ultimately, the Spaniard asked Fedorca if he likes bluffing.

"Me? Bluff? Never," Fedorca said with a grin on his face and several players at the table chuckled.

"What do you have?" Fedorca inquired again and Perez Moreno replied "I don't see my card."

Aleksejs Ponakovs was one of the spectators and gave Perez Moreno another half a minute before he called the clock. During the thirty second countdown, the call followed and Fedorca tabled the 44 for a set.

"I know ..." Perez Moreno sighed and exposed his Q9.

The table broke right after with the Spaniard leaving on a nub and around two dozen eliminations away from the money bubble.

Alilovic Doubles Amid Some Minor Confusion

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Only around 45,000 were in the middle to the Q10373 river when the dealer tried to confirm three times with Mehdi Merai that he had in fact called the all-in of Miroslav Alilovic. Their cards were already exposed - 88 for Merai and 77 for Alilovic, while Merai had 50,000 pushed out in front.

The all-in of Alilovic was for 52,500 and once the confusion subsided, Merai handed over the extra few chips to give Alilovic a full double.
