Three Streets for Reixach Against Dziamyanik

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Sergi Reixach
Sergi Reixach

Volga Uyanik raised to 6,500 in middle position and Raman Dziamyanik called from the next seat. Sergi Reixach then three-bet to 26,000 on the button for Dziamyanik to be the only caller.

On a flop of Q76, Dziamyanik check-called for 17,000 and did so again for 35,000 on the K turn. The 4 river was checked by the Belorussian once more, who then swiftly called Reixach's 70,000 bet.

Reixach tabled the AA for the win and Dziamyanik mucked AK for a pair of kings.

Ropert Eliminated by Groenendijk

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Corentin Ropert
Corentin Ropert

Corentin Ropert pushed a short stack of around ten blinds from the hijack and was called by Julien Groenendijk on the button.

Corentin Ropert: Q9
Julien Groenendijk: 88

The K645 turn gave Ropert a flush draw on top of his two overcards but Groenendijk was the one to improve to a straight with the 7 river.

The same table also features EPT Sochi Main Event champion Arsenii Karmatckii, Walter Treccarichi, and the two WSOP Europe Main Event runner-ups Gianluca Speranza as well as Ting-Yi "Eric" Tsai. Furthermore, last year's eighth-place finisher Johan Schultz-Pedersen is there, too, who earned €144,300 for the efforts in 2023.

Slila Remains In

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Kader Slila threw in his last few blinds from the small blind and was called by Kostadin Kostadinov in the big blind.

Kader Slila: A5
Kostadin Kostadinov: Q6

The A98 flop gave Slila top pair but the 10 turn meant that Kostadinov was still live. The 4 river did not bring in his straight, however, and the small but important pot was shipped to Slila.

Custodio Sniffs Out a Bluff From Pedersen

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Daniel Custodio
Daniel Custodio

In a blind versus blind confrontation and 26,000 in the pot, Daniel Custodio and Christian Pedersen checked the A76 flop.

The turn was the K and Pedersen bet 12,000. Custodio called and checked over to Pedersen again on the 3 river. Pedersen then bet 40,000.

As Custodio was spending several minutes in the tank, tablemate Tobias Peters noticed Stefan Olofsson was wearing an EPT pin in the lapel of his navy blue suit and asked where to get one.

"They were giving it away about a year or two ago," Olofsson replied.

"Did you have to win anything?" Tobias asked.

"No. I look like staff walking around," the impeccably dressed Olofsson replied.

Custodio finally flicked in a chip to call and Pedersen showed QJ for a bluff. Custodio turned over KJ to win the pot with a pair of kings.

Aliaksei Boika got his stack of 53,000 chips in from the small blind against Nicolas Lecoeuvre in the hijack.

Aliaksei Boika: KQ
Nicolas Lecoeuvre: AA

Boika flopped one pair on K38 and turned two of them on the Q. The 7 river did not counterfeit him and he doubled up.

After the fact, Boika felt like he received too many chips and requested a recount of his stack. It turned out that he indeed received 6,000 too much, and it was swiftly returned to Lecoeuvre.

Odeen Doubles and Damages Dowling

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Jerry Odeen
Jerry Odeen

Bryn Kenney opened to 7,000 and faced a three-bet to 19,500 from Jerry Odeen.

Action folded to Chris Dowling, who pondered his options for a moment, before producing a cold four-bet to 50,000.

Kenney quickly folded, but Odeen went into the tank.

After about two minutes, Odeen announced he was all-in and Dowling made the quick call, with Odeen at risk.

Jerry Odeen: AK
Chris Dowling: QQ

It was the classic race, and Dowling didn't remain ahead for long, the flop coming 6K10 to give Odeen a pair of kings, a lead he would not relinquish on the 93 runout.

Elliot Smith: AK

The 33954 board remained free of letters, thus doubling up Geci with his overpair.

Some Assorted Counts With 300 Remaining

Level 14 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Frank Lagodich raised out of the hijack only for Iurii Kondrat on the button to make it 17,000 to go. It folded back to Lagodich, who clicked it back to 35,000. Kondrat went into the tank and eventually folded.

One table over, Ignacio Molina raised to 6,000 in the cutoff. Soenke Jahn jammed for 54,500 and Molina went into the tank, then started some small talk.

"You don't really want the call, right?" Molina asked.

"No, I run really bad in these," Jahn responded.

Molina then folded and mentioned he let go of king-queen.

"Okay, I take it back, I want the call. I would have been in great shape with ace-queen," Jahn concluded.
