As the 2024 European Poker Tour Prague nears its end, so too must the inaugural €2,200 Mixed Game Main Event, as just nine players remain for Day 3 to battle for the title. The action is scheduled to get underway at 12:30 p.m. local time at the stunning Hilton Prague.
Leading the way is Frenchman Paul Tedeschi, who bagged an impressive 869,000 chips at the end of Day 2. Tedeschi, a four-time EPT titleholder with over $3 million in live-tournament earnings, surged late on Day 2 by eliminating both Tobias Leknes and Thomas Berg.
Close on his heels is Jeremy Trojand, who finished last night with 755,000 chips and will aim to improve on his recent fourth-place finish in the €5,200 Pot Limit Omaha event earlier this week.
Ali Abdulzahra rounds out the top three thanks to claiming the final elimination of Day 2. Abdulzahra enters with 705,000 and has a chance to secure his biggest-ever live cash with a win today.

Each of the remaining players has already secured a cash of at least €4,980, but will all surely be gunning for the €44,884 first-place prize, which represents the majority share of the €159,360 prize pool.

Play will resume on Level 16 with blinds of 6,000/12,000, a 3,000 ante, and betting limits of 12,000/24,000. Levels will continue to last 60 minutes each and break lengths will be contingent on players and tournament staff.

Action folded to the blinds, where Ali Abdulzahra raised to 24,000 from the small blind and Jeremy Trojand called from the big blind.
Both players checked on the 2♠4♠K♥ flop and then Trojand called an 18,000 bet from Abdulzahra on the 9♦ turn.
The J♣ completed the board and Abdulzahra fired 45,000 into the middle. Trojand looked him up and Abdulzahra tabled K♦K♠ for a set of kings. Trojand mucked and Abdulzahra was sent the pot.
