Players folded around to Luigi Pignataro, who open-raised from the button. Volodymyr Trubanov clicked it back to 2,400 from the small blind and Pignataro called.
The flop came 6♣J♥Q♣ and Trubanov continued with a bet of 2,100, which Pignataro called. Action then slowed down as both players checked back the 8♣ turn and A♠ river.
Trubanov had A♥7♦ and had rivered a pair of aces. Pignataro mucked and Trubanov scooped the pot.
Morten Klein raised to 1,200 from middle position and was three-bet to 3,000 by Maciej Gut from the next position. After it folded back to him, Klein put in the call.
The A♥J♣2♥ flop got a check from Klein. Gut bet 10,000 and Klein quickly released his hand.
Action was on the flop on board 6♥2♦7♦ and Fabrice Maltez had a bet of 7,000 out in the middle. Tomas Macnamara moved all in for 23,000, the player to his left folded and Maltez made the call.
Maltez had 8♦8♣ for a pair of eights, but Macnamara had 10♠10♣ for a higher overpair.
The turn came the Q♦ and river the 5♠, so Macnamara held to double up his stack.
A big pot had developed between Gianfranco Iaculli and Erlend Melsom on a board of A♣K♠8♠6♥2♥. There were around 35,000 chips in the pot when Iaculli shoved the river with his big stack, which gave Melsom a decision for his remaining 32,000.
Melsom didn't need too much time to think it over and dropped his whole stack into the pot after around fifteen seconds. Iaculli then showed a set with 8♦8♥, and Melsom's A♦Q♠ was revealed and then mucked.
Iaculli now has around 170,000, and is certainly one of the chip leaders as the dinner break approaches.
Vanessa Kade open-raised to 1,200 from middle position and Ferrer Fernandez called in the big blind.
The flop came 2♥9♦Q♣ and Fernandez checked. Kade made a continuation bet of 1,500 and Fernandez called. The turn was the J♦ and Fernandez checked again. Kade sized up to 4,500 and Fernandez folded to give her the pot.
Following an early position raise, Severi Palmu three-bet to 4,000 from the hijack, then David Hu four-bet from the big big blind for 11,000. The original raiser folded and Palmu moved all in. Hu called for 27,000 and was at risk as players flipped their cards.
David Hu: Q♥Q♠
Severi Palmu: K♥K♣
The board ran out 7♥2♠5♠10♦7♣ and Palmu held with his pocket kings to win the pot, eliminating Hu from the flight.
