Jaehyung Park opened to 3,000 from the hijack and Francisco Blanco defended his big blind.

Blanco check-called a 2,500 bet from Park on the 9♦K♣10♦ flop and a 6,500 bet from Park on the 7♥ turn.

The 6♦ completed the board and Blanco led out for 18,000. Park raised to 50,000 and Blanco called.

Park turned over A♦J♦ for the nut flush, which got a groan from Blanco as he revealed he held K♦4♦ for a king-high flush before mucking his hand.

Konopelko's Straight Sends Hjulstroem Packing

Andrei Konopelko opened the action from the cutoff with a raise to 3,000, only to face an all-in shove for 14,000 from Linus Hjulstroem on the button. After a moment’s thought, Konopelko made the call, and the cards were revealed:

Linus Hjulstroem: A♣6♣ All in
Andrei Konopelko: A♥8♠

Hjulstroem, slightly behind preflop, needed the board to cooperate. The flop came 6♦J♣Q♠, giving Hjulstroem a pair of sixes and causing Konopelko to shake his head in frustration.

The turn, however, brought the 10♦, giving Konopelko a glimmer of hope with outs for a straight or a split pot. The river delivered the 9♠, completing Konopelko's straight and sealing the hand. Hjulstroem’s tournament run came to an end as Konopelko added the pot to his stack.

Yurii Zabrodotskyi opened to 3,000 from early position with Jenya Gavrilovich calling from the next seat, and Daniel Novak calling from the button.

The three players checked the 5♦J♦5♣ flop for the A♣ to hit the turn. Zabrodotskyi bet 8,000, which only Gavrilovich called.

The Q♠ river got checked through and Zabrodotskyi took down the pot with Q♣8♣ for a pair of queens.

Both players checked a board of K♦5♥4♥Q♥9♣ all the way to the river before Nurzynski put out a bet of 6,500. Rodoplu thought it over for a few moments before making the call.

Nurzynski turned over ace-high with Ax8x. Rodoplu had that beat with A♠9♠ for a pair of nines.

Adrian-Sorel State opened the action from under the gun with a raise to 3,000. Conor Beresford, sitting on the button, responded by moving all in for roughly 17,000. Without hesitation, State snap-called, and the cards went on their backs.

Beresford looked for a flip, but State’s pocket aces had him dominated. The flop came A♥9♦5♣, giving State an immediate set and leaving Beresford in dire straits. The 10♦ on the turn sealed his fate, making the 10♣ river a mere formality.

Beresford exited the tournament as State added another significant pot to his growing stack.

The two players saw the dealer fan a flop of 3♥A♥Q♠, where Van der Beek check-called a bet of 4,000 from Kyte.

The 7♦ turn and 2♦ river got checked down and Van der Beek turned over 5♣3♦ for a pair of threes. Kyte had that beat with 8♣8♠ for a pair of eights, and the pot was pushed to him.

According to his former tablemates, Parker Talbot opened and then three-bet all in against Arthur Thiriart. The Belgian called with AxQx and was racing against the 10x10x of Talbot.

However, there was an Ax on the river which sent Talbot to the rail. A few minutes later, another PokerStars Ambassador joined the table in the shape of Kenny Hallaert, with Adam McKola also seated at the same table.

In the small blind, Luca Maccatrozzo checked to Giuseppe Dedoni, who fired a bet of 12,000. After a brief pause, Maccatrozzo made the call.

The 5♠ river brought more intrigue, and Maccatrozzo checked again. Dedoni, visibly frustrated, opted to check back, taking the hand to a showdown. Maccatrozzo revealed K♠2♠ for a turned flush, leaving Dedoni shaking his head in dismay, his frustration lingering even as the next hand began.
