Gil Three-Bets the Flop

George-Mircea Tomescu opened from early position to 4,000 with Brandon Sheils calling from the small blind, and Albert Gil defending his big blind.

After Sheils checked the 785 flop, Gil bet 4,000 and was met by a raise to 11,000 from Tomescu. Sheils folded but Gil put in another raise to 20,000. Tomescu quickly folded and forfeited the pot to Gil.

According to officials, the event saw a 13.5% year-over-year increase in total entries, and a 12.1% year-over-year increase in unique participants.

Franchi Secures Double With Kings

Mikolaj Zawadzki opened to 4,000 and got one caller before Malcolm Franchi three-bet to 16,000 on the button.

Zawadzki then four-bet to 34,000 and the caller folded. Franchi then five-bet all in for 98,000.

"I'm not excited but I call," said Zawadzki.

Philipp Engel raised to 4,000 from under the gun. Stephane Knafo called from the hijack, Adrian State called from the button, but Ryan Plant squeezed to 20,000 from the small blind. Engel folded, but Knafo and State called.

Plant put out a continuation-bet of 12,000 on the 2A6 flop and was met by an immediate shove by Knafo for roughly 50,000. State and Plant both quickly folded and Knafo slammed down 87 for just an eight-high flush draw.
