Kapeller Makes Marques Fold the River

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With around 35,000 chips in the middle on a Q109 flop, Siegfried Kapeller checked from the big blind and Pedro Marques fired 24,000 from the hijack. Kapeller called.

A 6 on the turn checked around to the A river, where Kapeller used some extra time before he fired out a bet of 51,000. Marques was thinking it over and with a few seconds left on his countdown, he slid his cards into the middle and surrendered the pot.

Percic Doubles Through Pichierri

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Alessandro Pichierri opened the action with a min-raise, and Darko Percic moved all-in. Pichierri called.

Alessandro Pichierri: A10

Percic was in great shape to double up, and his chances improved even more when the 3K8 flop hit the table. Sandev Has Cohen Drawing Dead on the Turn

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Georgi Sandev committed his last 48,000 across the betting line from the hijack and was called by Tom Cohen on the button.

Georgi Sandev: 109 All in
Tom Cohen: KQ

Sandev needed some help from the dealer if he was to survive. He got it on the 10A3 flop as he took the lead having paired his ten. The Q came on the turn to give Sandev a flush. Cohen was drawing dead as an inconsequential 4 fell on the river and the pot was pushed to Sandev.

"Worst flop ever," said Hasler as he left the table.

Carbo Shows Top Pair as Vrakas Correctly Checks Back River

Level 17 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

There were already around 75,000 chips in the pot on a 244 flop between Gerard Carbo from under the gun and Georgios Vrakas in the next seat when they both decided to check the flop.

On the Q turn, Carbo checked and Vrakas fired 40,000. After taking some time, Carbo slid forward the chips to call.

A 5 dropped on the river and after Carbo checked, Vrakas took his time before he eventually knuckled back.

Carbo then revealed AQ for top pair, top kicker, and Vrakas will be glad he checked back the river as he mucked.
