Cesar Garcia raised to 30,000 out of the hijack and only Enrico Camosci called from the cutoff.
Garcia check-called a bet of 65,000 from Camosci on the 5♠K♦9♦ flop.
The turn came the Q♦ and both players checked to see the 10♣ fall on the river. The two players checked again and Garcia took down the pot with A♦A♣ for a pair of aces.
Artur Shupa opened the action to 30,000 from the button, and Dimitrios Gkatzas called from the big blind.
The flop came Q♠8♠3♥, and Gkatzas checked. Shupa followed up with a continuation bet of 20,000, but Gkatzas responded with a check-raise to 75,000. Shupa called.
The K♣ landed on the turn, and Gkatzas opted to check. Shupa seized the opportunity and bet 60,000, which Gkatzas called.
The river brought the A♣, and Gkatzas checked once more. Shupa upped the pressure with a larger bet of 200,000. Gkatzas appeared to be in a tough spot but ultimately found the call with K♠J♦, taking down the pot as Shupa mucked his hand.
Jeremie Zouari opened the action from the button to 30,000, and the action folded to Thomas de Rooij, who three-bet to 95,000 from the big blind. Zouari took his time before making the call.
The flop came 2♣10♦4♠, and De Rooij continued for 55,000. Zouari called, and the turn brought the 4♣.
De Rooij used a timebank card and then fired a second barrel of 80,000, which was enough to force Zouari to toss his cards into the muck.
Jaehyung Park raised the button to 30,000 and Alexis Andre called out of the big blind.
On the A♣J♦3♣ flop, Andre tapped the table and Park fired out a continuation-bet of 25,000. Andre called.
An A♦ on the turn saw Andre check again, then park made another bet of 55,000. One of Andre's timebanks went into the pot and after he burned through one, he flicked in the call.
When the 7♣ dropped on the river, Andre checked for a third time and Park reached for chips, then bet 135,000. It wasn't one timebank then went in this time, but instead Andre slid in an entire stack, indicating that he had a tough decision on his hands. Though after using just one 30-second extension, Andre called.
The entire table were expecting to see a showdown, but Park didn't want to show his cards and just mucked, which meant Andre collected the pot without showing his cards.
Nicolaus Paszkiewicz bet 35,000 on a flop of K♦7♠9♦ with Pawel Wojciechowski calling out of the big blind, and Nicolaus Paszkiewicz folding from under the gun.
The 8♦ dropped on the turn and both players checked to see the 3♣ hit the river. Wojciechowski led out for 175,000 and Paszkiewicz went deep into the tank. After using three of his time bank cards, Paszkiewicz called for roughly half his stack.
Wojciechowski turned over the winner with 3♦2♦ for a baby flush and dragged in the pot.
The action was picked up on the turn with the board showing 7♥2♠A♥9♦ and around 350,000 chips in the pot. Enrico Camosci was first to act from the big blind and announced all in for 325,000. Tjenno Eskes was Camosic's only opponent in the hand and he went deep into the tank. Eskes started the hand from under the gun and burned through four of his time bank cards, before, ultimately, he reluctantly folded and the pot was sent to Camosci.
Nikita Kuznetsov opened the hijack and Alessandro Pichierri shoved his very short stack of just a few big blinds into the middle. When it got back to Kuznetsov, he put in the extra.
Alessandro Pichierri: A♥Q♣
Nikita Kuznetsov: 9♣8♣
Pichierri was in the lead, but fell deep into a hole on the 9♠K♦8♠ flop as Kuznetsov made two pair. A 3♥ on the turn sealed Pichierri's fate, and the meaningless 7♣ filled out the board.
Gianfranco Iaculli's tournament life unraveled in dramatic fashion, starting with a costly clash against Pascal Vos. With about 85,000 in the middle and the board showing 9♦4♠9♣K♠, Vos, sitting in the big blind, checked to Iaculli, who bet. Vos responded with a raise to 85,000, which Iaculli called.
The A♠ landed on the river, and Vos moved all in for 280,000. Iaculli snap-called, revealing A♥7♣ for two pair, aces and nines. However, Vos turned over 5♠2♠ for a surprising flush, leaving Iaculli with just 5,000 chips.
In the very next hand, Gal Bar opened to 30,000 from middle position. Iaculli, with no choice but to go all in for his last 5,000, tossed in his chip. Paul Runcan, sitting on the button, three-bet to 85,000, prompting Bar to fold and leaving Iaculli to face Runcan in a heads-up showdown.
Gianfranco Iaculli: 5♣5♥
Paul Runcan: A♦K♠
Iaculli had a slight edge preflop, but the K♥7♣7♥ flop all but sealed his fate as Runcan paired his king. The Q♣ turn and 10♠ river confirmed the inevitable, sending Iaculli out in 52nd place after a rapid descent.
Philip Joyce opened the button and Sylwia Studniarz three-bet to 100,000 from the small blind. After the big blind folded, Joyce shoved for around 300,000, and Studniarz quickly called.
Philip Joyce: 9♠9♥
Sylwia Studniarz: 10♠10♣
Joyce was already on his feet in preparation for his departure before the flop of 5♣K♥3♥ was even dealt. A 10♦ on the turn meant there was no way back for Joyce, as Studniarz improved to an unbeatable set. An inconsequential A♠ on the river confirmed Joyce's exit, and Studniarz' stack climbed to 1,700,000.
