Descouts Shoves on Tian; Cuomo Stuns Reid on the River

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Mengshi Tian bet 150,000 from the hijack on a flop of 6♥4♥2♥ and Jeremie Descouts raised to 380,000 in the cutoff. Tian called and the 2♣ fell on the turn.

Descouts then moved all in for 1,060,000 and Tian took a minute before folding.

At the same time at another table, Terrance Reid had bet 480,000 from under the gun on a board of Q♦3♦2♣2♦, Daniele Cuomo moved all in from the small blind, and Reid called.

Cuomo showed A♥2♥ for trips, but Reid had made a flush with J♦10♦. He was poised to take down the big pot, but the river brought the 3♠ to give Cuomo a full house. "No!" Reid yelled out, turning away from the table as the stacks were counted down.

Cuomo had 3,240,000 remaining, while Reid only had around 2,200,000 and was sent to the rail.

Luciano Iacovella opened to 160,000 in early position and Justin Saliba called in the hijack as Anouar Mehlil called in the cutoff.

Chin Wei Lim then three-bet jammed a stack of over 4,000,000 in the small blind with all of his opponents covered. Iacovella and Saliba folded and Mehlil called to put himself at risk.

Mehlil was dominated and couldn't improve as the board ran out 4♣J♥5♣5♥A♣ to mark his elimination.

"OMG bro, OMG," Iacovella reacted after the hand, noting that he folded pocket tens. "You rivered me."

"I miscounted your stack," Lim told Iacovella after the big three-bet.

Heads-up on a flop of K♣7♥2♠, Chin Wei Lim bet 100,000 from the button before Luciano Iacovella raised to 300,000 in the big blind. Lim called and the 2♣ fell on the turn.

Iacovella then bet 200,000 and Lim again called. The river was the J♦ and Iacovella bet 300,000. Lim folded this time and Iacovella showed him K♦7♦ while taking in the pot.

At another table, Robert Seelen had moved all in for 610,000 from the cutoff and Simon Wiciak called in the big blind.

Seelen had Wiciak dominated as the flop came 8♠7♥2♠. "Always a sweat," Seelen said after Wiciak picked up outs to a straight. The 4♣ turn was safe, but Wiciak spiked the 9♥ on the river to make his straight and send Seelen to the rail.
