Tor Skardi
Tor Skardi

A big pot brewed in a heads-up pot between Alessandro Mazzilli and Tor Skardi on a board of AJ1039.

With over 2,000,000 already in the middle, Mazzilli checked on the river and Skardi moved all in. Mazzilli went deep in the tank as he considered calling off for his remaining 3,000,000.

Someone called the clock and Mazzilli folded as the seconds wound down, leading Skardi to table a bluff with Q3 for just bottom pair.

"Nice hand," Mazzilli told his opponent in defeat.

Syzghanov Makes the Nuts on Ampelikiotis, Saliba Gets Away

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Three players saw a flop of 1063 where Theodoros Ampelikiotis bet 230,000 from early position. Justin Saliba called on the button before Yakiv Syzghanov raised to 825,000 in the big blind.

Ampelikiotis then moved all in for 1,365,000 as action went on Saliba. He tanked for several minutes until the clock was called. Saliba allowed his countdown to run out and his hand was declared dead, while Syzghanov snap-called.

Theodoros Ampelikiotis: QQ All in
Yakiv Syzghanov: A9

"I wanted you to call," Syzghanov told Saliba as the 2 turn gave him the nut flush and left Ampelikiotis drawing dead. The river was the 6 and Ampelikiotis was sent to the rail.

"I had jacks. I was trapping you," Saliba told Syzghanov.

"Very good fold," Syzghanov replied.

Death by Quads For Rajkovic

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Florens Feenstra raised to 160,000 in early position, Adi Rajkovic moved all in for 1,200,000 in the small blind, and Feenstra snap-called.

Adi Rajkovic: 88 All in
Florens Feenstra: JJ

Rajkovic was crushed by Feenstra's jacks as the flop came Q93. The J turn gave Feenstra a set, while Rajkovic picked up straight and flush draws. Any hope he had of survival, however, were quickly dashed when the J river improved Feenstra to quads, sending Rajkovic to the payout desk.
