Espen Jorstad Eliminated in 4th Place (€524,400)

Level 21 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Espen Jorstad
Espen Jorstad

Espen Jorstad raised to 400,000 from the button, and Jesse Lonis put in a three-bet from the small blind. When it folded back to Jorstad, he called for his stack of 565,000 total, and the cards were revealed.

Jesse Lonis: A9

Jorstad needed to connect with the board to keep his hopes of winning the tournament alive. However, the A27 flop gave Lonis top pair, and meant Jorstad needed running cards to win.

The rest of the board came J3, and Lonis' pair of aces pot, eliminating Jorstad in fourth place.

PokerStars Confirms EPT Paris Returns in 2026

Level 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
EPT Paris
EPT Paris

PokerStars has confirmed that European Poker Tour (EPT) will return to Paris as part of the online poker giant's live poker schedule in 2026. Following huge attendances in 2023 and 2024, the 2025 edition of EPT Paris was cancelled amid regulatory challenges. However, PokerStars has overcome those hurdles and the 2026 EPT Paris is scheduled to run from February 18 through March 1 at the Le Palais des Congres.

"We're delighted to have Paris back on the EPT schedule in 2026 and to be able to collaborate once again with Club Barriere," said Cedric Billot, Associate Director of Live Events. "It's a player favorite for many reasons: the unique atmosphere, it's a great location accessible from all over Europe, and when it comes to enjoying your time away from the poker tables, well, Paris is a city that takes some beating. We can't wait to be back in the French capital and welcome players to the Palais de Congres in February."

Coleman Rivers a Flush to Stay Alive

Level 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
David Coleman
David Coleman

With 1,320,000 to start the hand, David Coleman made it 730,000 from the button. Espen Jorstad announced a min-raise from the button, and after the big blind folded, Coleman's remaining chips got into the middle with Jorstad trying to bust him.

David Coleman: KJ All in
Espen Jorstad: A10

Jorstad's ace-ten high was in the lead, but Coleman had two live cards and suits working for him.

Neither player improved on the 538 flop, although Coleman picked up a flush draw on the 3 turn. The dealer burned a card, then peeled off the 7 on the river to complete Coleman's flush.

Coleman survived elimination, and now Jorstad was the table's short stack.

Level 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Aleksejs Ponakovs

Aleksejs Ponakovs raised to 725,000 with just 75,000 behind. Espen Jorstad announced raise from the button, and when it folded back to Ponakovs, he called to put himself at risk.

Aleksejs Ponakovs: KJ All in
Espen Jorstad: AK

Ponakovs was dominated by Jorstad's big slick heading to the AJ8 flop where both players improved to a pair. The 6 turn and 5 river didn't help Ponakovs, and he headed to the rail to collect his fifth-place payout.
