Heads-up on a flop of J♣10♠2♣, Igor Pihela bet 1,000 from the button and Fintan Hand raised to 5,500 in the big blind. Pihela then moved all in, and Hand let out a sigh before calling for 26,500.

Hand showed top pair, but Pihela had flopped two pair to take the lead. The turn was the 7♠, while the J♠ river improved Hand to trips but also gave Pihela a full house as Hand was sent to the rail.

The PokerStars Team pro was already on his second bullet of the day, so his Main Event officially came to an end.

Espen Jorstad, coming off his fourth-place finish in the Super High Roller earlier today, had just taken his seat at the same table as Joao Leao, Rayan Chamas, and Hannes Jeschka. He then opened to 2,000 in the hijack, and Darius Neagoe greeted him by moving all in for 9,800 in the cutoff. Jorstad quickly called.

Neagoe hit his ace on the A♦Q♠7♣ flop to take the lead, then improved to trips as the board ran out 8♥A♥ to secure the double up.

After the hand, Jorstad was admiring the bronze chess piece that Neagoe was using as a card protector. "If it works, you can use it in the next high roller," Neagoe told him.

"One percent freeroll for my friend," Jorstad replied.

Ettore Cuzzone in the hijack raised to 1,600. Ramon Colillas in the cutoff called, and Arthur Navellou defended from the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of A♦3♥7♠ and Cuzzone continued for 2,500. Collilas called, but Navellou folded, so he didn't see the J♦ turn.

Cuzzone fired a second barrel of 5,500. Collilas called again and bet 11,000 after Cuzzone checked the K♣ river.

The Italian player eventually chose to fold and left the pot to Collilas.

Tony Dunst just managed to get a double-up, with Shashank Jain having to cough up the chips.

The action was unknown, but Jain was in the cutoff and Dunst in the small blind, with all the chips finding themselves into the middle by the time the river card was dealt on the 6♥7♠5♠6♣Q♣ board.

Dunst had K♠K♣ face up for a pair of kings, and that was good for the pot as Jain's cards had already hit the muck.

Claude Mamalepot opened from the hijack and Joao Dall Astra three-bet to 4,200 on the button. When it got back to Mamalepot, he called.

Both checked the all-club J♣2♣Q♣ flop to the 4♥ turn, where Mamalepot led for 5,500. Astra called.

When the 6♠ hit the river, Mamalepot shoved, which got Astra a decision for his last 13,000. Astra didn't seem to have much of a decision, though, as he quickly folded.

Ghionoiu Fills Up, Gaiulli Leaves Prematurely

Heads-up on a flop of 4♠4♦2♠, Giovanni Gaiulli bet 5,100 from the cutoff before Daniel Ghionoiu raised to 10,500 in the big blind. Gaiulli called and the 7♣ fell on the turn.

Ghionoiu then moved all in and Gaiulli quickly called. Ghionoiu turned over A♠4♣ for trips, while Gaiulli flipped over 9♠9♦ and was already walking away from the table even before the A♥ river improved Ghionoiu to a full house.

The stacks were counted down and Gaiulli had Ghionoiu's remaining 27,000 covered by 3,000. The rest of the table tried to call him back, but Gaiulli had left the room and his remaining few chips sat unattended in front of an empty chair.

It was a disaster for Nattapatsiri, who held a smaller flush draw than his opponent with a pot of around 100,000 at stake. A five or a four would also do the trick for Nattapatsiri, but the K♦ turn was nowhere near.

Moya couldn't stand to watch the river card hit, but when the J♦ peeled off, his ace-high held up to earn the double.
