Jack Sinclair opened to 3,000 from under the gun. Everybody folded to Luc van der Beek in the small blind who called.

Sinclair continued for 2,500 on a flop of 6♣7♣K♦ but Van der Beek check-raised to 7,000. Sinclair called, then all the chips quickly went in the middle on the 10♦ turn with Van Der Beek at risk for 21,000.

Sergio Leyva opened to 3,000 from middle position and Felipe Germano three-bet the cutoff to 9,000. When it got back to Leyva, he called.

The flop came 7♦3♠3♦ and after Leyva checked, Germano bet 8,000. Leyva called to see the 2♦ turn, which checked through.

A J♣ hit the river and Leyva bet 9,500, only to be met with a raise of 30,000 from Germano. It didn't take too long for Leyva to call.

Germano then flipped over a pair of queens with Q♠Q♦, and Leyva quickly mucked.

Three players to the turn on a board of 6♥J♥10♠5♣, where Eugen Chiva bet first from the big blind. Punnat Punsri called out of the under the gun position before Kei Tanaka made it 17,000 to go from middle position. Chiva let go of his hand, but Punsri called to see a river.

A 7♥ dropped on the river and both players checked. Punsri tabled A♥J♦ for a pair of jacks, but lost the pot to Tanaka's set with 5♥5♦.

After Altmann checked the river, Navellou shoved for 82,000. Altmann was trying to piece together the puzzle, and after almost two minutes in the tank, he called.

Navellou then immediately showed top set with K♦K♣, and Altmann flashed A♦K♥ for top pair before he mucked.

Jamie Walden bought into Day 2 right before it kicked off, but didn't last long in the tournament as Daniel Rezaei cut it short.

The chips were in the middle preflop, with Walden's stack of around 22,000 at risk from under the gun, with Rezaei in the hijack.

You have to win flips to win tournaments, and it looked to be going Walden's way as he flopped Broadway on A♠J♥10♦. Rezaei had outs to a full house, but the 8♥ turn didn't improve his set.

What did improve his set was the board-pairing 8♠, which boated up Rezaei and sent Walden on his way.
