Haraldstad Fighting Back from Early Downfall

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

After getting three-outered in a 1.7 million chip pot, Joachim Haraldstad has responded well to the start-of-day set-back. Immediately after being left with 185,000, he doubled to 420,000 and then picked up another pot to get closer to average. Now the Norwegian is almost back to where he started after eliminating Spyros Karathanos.

Merijn van Rooij opened to 40,000 from early position before Karathanos jammed for 180,000 from the next seat over. Haraldstad attempted a raise, but it was ruled as a call as he got his math incorrect. This didn't matter though as Van Rooij got out of the way.

Haraldstad picked up the bust out after his Big Slick remained best following the 106544 runout.

On another table, PokerStars' Benjamin Bruneteaux was eliminated.
