Benjamin Duval opened to 80,000 from the button and Koen De Visscher defended his big blind. The latter check-folded to a small bet on the 10♠3♣2♠ flop.
On the next deal, Mateusz Moolhuizen made it 80,000 from early position. Duval three-bet to 180,000 and was called. Like De Visscher, Moolhuizen check-folded to a continuation bet on the A♥4♥3♦ flop.
Leo Worthington-Leese was in the cutoff and had looked up the all-in of big blind Donato De Bonis. De Bonis had jammed for 720,000, which Worthington-Leese covered by only 10,000.
Donato De Bonis: J♥J♣
Leo Worthington-Leese: 10♠10♦
De Bonis faced no threats on the K♠4♥9♣8♠2♣ runout, seeing his jacks hold for a full double-up.
One hand later, at the same table, Rolando Carrera got his stack of 635,000 in from the big blind against Mateusz Moolhuizen on the button.
Rolando Carrera: A♠K♦
Mateusz Moolhuizen: 9♠9♦
Carrera did not find a pair on the 8♣4♦Q♦ flop or 2♥ turn, and the 9♣ river provided Moolhuizen with a set to secure the knock-out.
Having secured a pay jump, Worthington-Leese committed his final 10,000 on the next deal and was also eliminated, while at another table Marian Virlanuta was seen taking his exit.
David Kaufmann was all-in for his last 310,000 from middle position and was at risk to Martin Bartos, who was in the hijack.
David Kaufmann: Ax10x
Martin Bartos: AxQx
Kaufmann paired up on the 10♥4♣3♣ flop, but Bartos went runner-runner to make Broadway as the board completed with the J♠K♥.
Mateusz Moolhuizen had three-bet an earlier open to 250,000 when Claudio Coelho moved all in for 760,000 from the small blind. The initial raiser got out of the way before Moolhuizen called after a bit of thought.
Claudio Coelho: A♥Q♥
Mateusz Moolhuizen: A♦Q♦
Both players had ace-queen, but only Moolhuizen had a chance to scoop the pot when the J♦K♦5♣ flop appeared. Moolhuizen kindly asked for a royal flush, and his wish came true when the 10♦ hit the turn.
With Coelho's fate set in stone, he stood up as the meaningless 8♠ river completed board. Moolhuizen celebrated his royal flush as Coelho took his unlucky exit.
Martin Bartos opened to 80,000 from the cutoff and was called by Modar Alsoud from the button. Lars Kamphues jammed for 765,000 from the small blind and then Ivan Martinez reshoved for 965,000 from the big blind. Bartos and Alsoud folded and the cards were tabled.
Lars Kamphues: Q♦Q♣
Ivan Martinez: A♦K♣
The 10♠5♣4♦ flop kepy Kamphues ahead until Martinez paired up on the A♠ turn to take the lead, Big Slick stayed in front after the 9♦ river and Kamphues was eliminated.
Sebastian Mortensen opened to 80,000 from the hijack before Corentin Soulier made it 240,000 from the small blind. Michal Kil four-bet jammed for 590,000 from the big blind. Mortensen shoved for 940,000, and after some time in the tank, Soulier called to put both players at risk.
Michal Kil: Q♥Q♣
Sebastian Mortensen: A♦A♣
Corentin Soulier: 10♥10♦
Moretensen collected the monster pot after his aces remained best following the J♦3♥4♣4♦5♥ runout.
It folded to Evaldas Aniulis in the small blind, who put Miao Chenxiang in the big blind all in. Chenxiang quickly called off his 250,000 remaining chips, and the cards were flipped up.
Evaldas Aniulis: A♦J♠
Miao Chenxiang: 5♥5♣
Aniulis won the flip when he paired his jack on the Q♠J♣9♦10♥6♣ board, eliminating Chenxiang.
Nikolaos Mouroutis had pushed in his stack of 600,000 on the button, and Merijn van Rooij called in early position to put him at risk.
Nikolaos Mouroutis: 9♦9♣
Merijn van Rooij: 7♠7♥
Moroutis had a sizable lead with the higher pocket pair, but Van Rooij flopped a set on 3♦Q♦7♦ to flip the script.
Mouroutis still had a flush draw to work with, but the 4♠ turn and 2♥ river did not bring a diamond, spelling the end of his tournament.
Miao Chenxiang was left with just a couple of big blinds after he doubled up Angelo Vietti. The latter scooped in a full double after his JxJx were best against Chenxiang's 10x8x on a ten-high board.
On the next deal, Ioannis Oikonomidis opened to 60,000 from middle position, and called when Nemo Israel made it 130,000 from the cutoff.
Oikonomidis led out for 65,000 on the 10♥9♦6♦ flop, but quickly folded when Israel jammed for 285,000. Israel proudly windmilled his A♥7♥ as he collected the pot.
