Van Rooij Flipped Out

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Merijn van Rooij kicked the action off with a raise to 1,300 from the hijack, before Grzegorz Kozieja put in a three-bet to 3,500 from the button. When action returned to Van Rooij, he opted to four-bet to 10,500. Kozieja responded with a five-bet shove, covering his opponent's stack, roughly 36,000. Van Rooij called, and the players revealed their cards.

Grzegorz Kozieja: AK

The dealer then revealed a 683 flop, giving Kozieja more outs to take the lead.

It was immediate service for Kozieja, as the turn 9 gave him a flush, leaving Van Rooij with just one out to catch up.

Alas, the river 5 could not save Van Rooij, who took his leave and headed to the exit.

Danchev Bets River

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Dimitar Danchev started the action with a raise to 1,300 on the button. Both Jordan Dumas, in the small blind, and the big blind player called.

The action checked through on the 1083 flop, prompting Dumas to take over the betting lead on the 2 turn. His bet of 3,000 saw the big blind fold, but Danchev made the call.

Dumas then checked the 3 river, before seeing Danchev put in a pot-sized bet of 10,500. Dumas wasted little time in folding, and Danchev added the chips to his stack.
