Ana Marquez: A♦K♦
Leonard Herrmann: K♣K♠
Marquez needed help from the board to stay alive, but the 8♠6♣8♦10♦3♣ offered a few outs without giving her the better hand, sending her to the rail.
Chris Da-Silva in the small blind and Sebastien Vincendeau in the hijack ended up moving all-in preflop, with Da-Silva at risk for 22,600.
Chris Da-Silva: A♣K♠
Sebastien Vincendeau: A♠Q♠
Da-Silva hit two pair on 2♣3♥5♣K♣2♦ to secure a double up.
Leo Worthington-Leese kicked the action off with a raise to 900 in middle position; the player in the cutoff called before Jianping Zhu moved all in from the small blind for 7,200.
Worthington-Leese called, and the cutoff player folded.
Jianping Zhu: A♦J♠
Leo Worthington-Leese: A♣K♣
The situation was bleak for Zhu, and the flop Q♣2♦8♦ offered little help.
Zhu then began to vacate his seat when he saw the 3♥ turn, but the J♦ river arrived just in time, seeing him secure a full double up.
Action folded to Tommaso Villamagna on the button, who opened to 1,000. Matteo Menconi defended his big blind with a three-bet to 3,000, and Villamagna fired back with a four-bet to 7,500.
Menconi then pushed nearly his entire stack of about 45,000 across the line, putting Villamagna all in for his remaining 18,500. Villamagna went deep into the tank before making the call, putting himself at risk.
Tommaso Villamagna: K♥Q♣
Matteo Menconi: A♦A♣
Villamagna needed a lot of help, but the board ran out 8♣A♠2♠5♦3♦, giving Menconi a set of aces and sending Villamagna to the rail.
Jon Kyte and Daniele Degennaro were heads-up on the 5♦2♥10♠5♥ turn. WIth 6,000 in the pot, Kyte checked from the big blind to Degennaro in the hijack.
Degennaro fired a bet of 3,000, but he gave up on the pot when Kyte upped the ante to 8,500.
Dylan Cechowski opened from middle position and was called by Bernd Gleissner on the button and David Gomes in the big blind.
Cechowski continued for 1,000 on 10♥8♥J♣ and both of his opponents quickly called.
After Gomes and Cechowski checked the 6♣ turn, Gleissner jammed for approximately 21,000. Gomes then Cechowski folded, and Gleissner flipped over 7♣2♣ to make everybody smile.
"I had two pair with jack-six," Gomes said.
"I had a flush draw," Gleissner answered while scooping the pot.
Xiaohu Liu raised from the button to 1,000, and after the small blind folded, Robin Schmitt moved all in for 10,700 from the big blind. Liu took a few moments but ultimately chose to call.
Robin Schmitt: K♠10♠
Xiaohu Liu: A♣J♦
Schmitt received immediate service on the 9♠K♣Q♣ flop to give him the lead, and it would stay that way when the 3♥ turn and 8♠ river completed the board.
