Bonus Finds River Value, Merelli Left Short

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Alessandro Merelli raised to 3,000 from the cutoff, and only Markus Bonus called, defending his big blind.

Both players checked on the Q66 flop, which prompted Bonus to take over the betting lead on the 10 turn. He placed 3,500 into the middle, which Merelli called.

The river 7 didn't slow Bonus down, continuing with a bet of 11,500. Merelli opted to call but saw the bad news when Bonus flipped over Q9. Unable to beat top pair, Merelli returned his cards to the dealer face down.

Behind, Ahead, Chop It Up

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

David Docherty kicked the action off, moving all in for 14,500. Jacob Stone was the only player to make the call, putting Docherty at risk.

David Docherty: A5 All in
Jacob Stone: AQ

The flop A42 saw Docherty calling for a three, but he settled for the 5 turn, which saw him take the lead.

This left Stone calling for a three, and the deck obliged, the river 3 seeing both players make a wheel straight and chop the pot.
