Harald Sammer was all-in for his last 77,500 from the small blind and was at risk to Dmitrii Semenov, who was in the cutoff.
Harald Sammer: 9♦9♥
Dmitrii Semenov: A♣Q♦
Semenov picked up four more outs after the K♣J♠4♣ flop but Semenov saw blanks on the 7♦ turn and 4♦ river for Sammer to double-up.
The action was picked up on a board of 4♠Q♠8♥6♥K♠ with 42,000 in the pot. Nemo Israel in the cutoff bet 40,000, and Aliaksei Boika in middle position went deep into the tank.
The clock was called and at the end of the countdown, Boika called.
"Nooooooo," Israel shouted as he was caught bluffing with A♠J♥. Boika had 9♣9♦ and scooped the pot.
The pot stood at around 20,000 with the board showing 2♦5♦10♦6♦. Nikolaos Angelou in the big blind checked to Ben Heath on the button, who bet 10,500. Angelou took his time before making the call.
On the 8♠ river, Angelou checked again and Heath opted to check back. Angelou revealed K♦8♥ for a rivered pair of eights, which was enough to take the pot as Heath’s hand went into the muck.
Petre Ionescu opened to 5,500 from the cutoff before Claudio Coelho made it 20,000 from the small blind. Mehdi Rebai four-bet jammed for 47,500 and Coelho was the only caller.
Mehdi Rebai: J♠J♦
Claudio Coelho: K♣Q♣
Rebai remained ahead after the 9♦8♣3♣ flop but Coelho was extremely live with his over cards and flush draw. It may have been a case of 'too many outs' for Coelho as Rebai's jacks held after the 6♥ turn and 8♠ river.
Heads-up on a board of 9♥10♠6♣6♦, David Salamanca in the big blind bet 13,500 and he was called by Clement Michaud in the hijack.
The Q♥ river landed on the felt and Salamanca bet 10,000. Michaud quickly called but ran into Salamanca's straight with J♠8♥.
Here is a look at the top ten stacks returning from the break.
