Alontsau Check-Raises River

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Siarhei Alontsau opened the action with a raise to 600 from middle position, which was met with a call from Ashot Alontsad, followed by a three-bet to 2,500 from Andrija Robovic in late position. Alontsau and Alontsad, two players with unusually similar last names, both made the call.

The flop came 354 and action checked to Robovic, who made it 2,200 to go. Only Alontsau made the call.

On the 9 turn, Alontsau checked and Robovic put out a large bet of 8,000. Alontsau then check-raised all in for 21,600, which sent Robovic deep into the tank.

Robovic rubbed his eyes, creased his forehead, talked to himself a little bit, then eventually made the fold after several minutes of consideration. Alontsau scooped in a decent pot.
