Margereson Chips Up With Big Blind Special

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Yoshihiro Inoue opened his button to 225,000. Scott Margereson defended his big blind, after which the K34 flop was fanned. Inoue continued for 125,000, which Margereson check-raised to 375,000.

After Inoue called, both players checked through the 5 turn. The 7 river saw Margereson re-aggress, announcing a bet of 950,000. Inoue called before Margereson's chips had even hit the felt.

The Japanese player tabled 44 for a set, but it was no good against the K6 of Margereson, who had made a backdoor straight to win the sizable pot.
