Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Stefan Peukert
Stefan Peukert

With 24,300 already in the pot, Adil Tlimisov checked the action to Stefan Peukert on a completed board of 81010J3. Peukert bet 9,300, leaving less than 5,000 behind, and quickly called off when Tlimisov put him all-in.

Tlimisov turned over 1010 for four tens. Peukert's straight with Q9 was outclassed, and he spent a few moments studying the hands before he said goodbye and left the table.

Van Rooij Straightens Out Meisolle

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

From the small blind, Joachim Meisolle checked the 2K10Q turn over to Merijn van Rooij, who bet 3,200, more than the 2,600 in the pot.

Meisolle quickly called, and he snap-called Van Rooij's bet of 8,000 on the 10 river as well. Van Rooij showed J9 for a straight.

"Wow, so lucky. Unbelievable," Meisolle lamented as he frustratedly showed K4 for top pair.

He paid Van Rooij the required chips, after which the two discussed an earlier hand where Van Rooij had gotten the better of him as well.

Hot Start for Di Nicola

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Ermanno Di Nicola opened to 600 from the button, and Juha Helppi defended from the big blind.

The flop came AJ2 and Helppi check-called a 500 bet from Di Nicola. The two players then checked down the 9 turn and 6 river.

Helppi showed KQ for king-high and a missed gutshot. Di Nicola tabled K9 for third pair to win the pot, adding more chips to his stack, which is already more than double what he started with.
