Bazin's Set Eliminates Jordon

Terry Jordon opened to 50,000 in the cutoff. Thomas Bazin flatted on the button, and Ding Fan defended his big blind

The 5♠Q♣3♣ flop saw Fan check before Jordon continued with a bet of 65,000. Bazin raised to 190,000, Fan folded J♦10♠, and Jordon called. Bazin then moved over-bet shoved on the K♦ river, covering Jordon's stack of 940,000.

Jordon sighed a few times but could not fold his hand and tossed in a calling chip after a while.

Jordon put on his coat as the river came the inconsequential 9♣. The chips were carefully counted, and after it was determined that Bazin indeed covered his opponent, Jordon headed out to pick up his payout.

Fan Correctly Folds Overpair

Ding Fan opened K♠K♦ to 50,000 in early position. Jeffrey Sarwer flat-called 4♠4♣ in the cutoff, and Terry Jordon fancied a flop with 9♥7♥ in the small blind.

After Jordon checked the 10♠J♦4♦ flop, Fan bet 85,000. Sarwer then put in a raise to 250,000, folding out Jordon. Fan stuck around with a call, however, after which the 9♣ turn hit the felt.

Fan checked it over to Sarwer, who moved all in for 685,000. Fan spent some time in the tank before folding his Cowboys and sending the pot to Sarwer/

Matan Krakow opened his A♦Q♥ to 40,000 in the hijack. Maria Lampropulos fancied a flop on the button with 3♦3♣ and called.

Krakow continued for another 40,000 on the 3♠J♦4♥ flop. Lampropulos just matched the bet, seeing Krakow increase his sizing to 115,000 on the K♥ turn.

Lampropulos kept up the slow-play with another call, after which the 7♥ was placed as the river. Krakow put forth all his time banks, ultimately spending one of them before deciding to give up on his bluff and check.

Lampropulos then put her opponent all-in for his remaining 220,000, but Krakow quickly got rid of his ace-high to stay in contention.

The flop came K♥8♣10♣. Bazin checked and Stoica bet 40,000. Bazin check-raised to 110,000, and Stoica called.

Bazin checked again on the Q♦ turn and Stoica bet 180,000. This time Bazin just called.

On the 2♣ river Bazin led out with a shove for 560,000. Stoica folded, and Bazin showed Q♥7♥ for second pair, turned into a bluff before dragging in the pot.

Antonio Sciacca was first to act and spent some time banks before he moved his last 10,000 over the line. Matan Krakow then reshoved for 415,000 in middle position, seeing the action fold to Maria Lampropulos in the cutoff.

Lampropulos spent two time extensions before she let go of A♥Q♣, after which the rest of the table quickly got out of the way as well.

Sciacca had no outs remaining after the A♠3♦A♦J♣ turn, and he left the feature table as the dealer completed the board with the J♥ river.

Terry Jordon limped in from under the gun before Dimitrios Gkatzas raised to 65,000 in the cutoff. Leo Worthington-Leese then moved all in for 325,000 in the small blind and Jordon folded, but Gkatzas called to put Worthington-Leese at risk.

Jordon then admitted he folded king-jack. "Sorry, mate," he said to Worthington-Leese about their previous encounter, while Worthington-Leese wished him good luck on his way to the exit.

Maria Lampropulos made it 40,000 to go in the hijack, which Antonio Sciacca called in the small blind. The duo went heads up to a flop of 7♣4♥3♦, where Sciacca led out for 30,000.

Lampropulos just called to the 5♥ turn, where she called again when Sciacca sized up to 100,000. The 6♥ river then completed a straight on the board, prompting Sciacca to move all in.

Lampropulos rechecked her cards before snap-calling for her stack of 675,000. Sciacca played the board with his A♣J♦, but Lampropulos had rivered a flush with her A♥7♥.

Lampropulos doubled up to a stack worth one and a half times the average, while Sciacca's bluff attempt left him with half a big blind to try and spin up.

On the 8♠ turn, Nazari bet 150,000. Hu shoved and Nazari, who was covered with around 225,000 left, called.
