Tokic Takes Out Mamitko to Cross Six Figures

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

After some action on the 8♣10♣6♥ flop, small blind Bohdan Mamitko's stack of 27,000 was all-in and at risk against Zeljko Tokic in the big blind.

Bohdan Mamitko: Q♥10♥ All in
Zeljko Tokic: 9♦7♠

Tokic had flopped the nuts to leave Mamitko drawing slim. The 7♦ brought some chop outs, but the 5♠ river confirmed Mamitko's exit.

Frankland Flushes Away Yen

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Matthew Frankland
Matthew Frankland

Mathew Frankland raised to 2,200 from middle position and Alexander Yen three-bet from the small blind to 7,500. Frankland shoved, and Yen called for his stack of about 33,000.

Alexander Yen: K♥K♦ All in
Mathew Frankland: J♣J♠

Yen had the higher pair, but the monotone 5♣7♣9♣ flop brought some danger as Frankland picked up a flush draw.

Yen improved to a set on the K♠ turn, removing a couple of Frankland's outs.

However, the 3♣ river completed Frankland's flush, sending Yen to the rail.

Pazma Bluffs It Off

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

In a pot of 18,000, Lukas Pazma shoved in his 14,200 from the hijack on a completed board of 2♥3♠7♣2♦10♦. John Driver spent some time in the tank before he decided to look his opponent up.

"Good call," Pazma stated as he revealed K♦J♣ for king-high. Driver had called with A♣3♣, enough to rake in the pot and send Pazma to the rail.

Shaganov Felts Tan

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Artem Shaganov
Artem Shaganov

Chang Tan open-shoved for about 9,500 from early position and got snapped off by Artem Shaganov in the big blind.

Chang Tan: A♠9♠ All in
Artem Shaganov: A♣K♦

Tan was crushed by Shaganov's big slick, and the K♣J♦Q♥ flop spelled further trouble as Shaganov improved to top pair.

Tan did pick up a gutshot to chop the pot, but neither the Q♦ turn nor 4♦ river provided any help, making him the latest elimination from the Main Event.

Kourie Smacks the River to End Dos Santos

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Samir Kourie raised to 1,600 from middle position and only Bruno Dos Santos called on the button.

Kourie continued for 2,400 on the A♥8♣6♣ flop, and Dos Santos called.

The 9♥ came on the turn, causing Kourie to check. Dos Santos bet 4,500, and Kourie quickly check-jammed with the covering stack. Dos Santos took another look at his cards before calling for his 20,000 total.

Bruno Dos Santos: A♣9♣ All in
Samir Kourie: 10♥6♥

Dos Santos had the lead with two pair and a flush draw, up against Kourie's bottom pair, gutshot, and flush draw.

Kourie found the 3♥ on the river to complete his flush, sending Dos Santos to the rail not long after dinner.

Matthew Frankland

Mathew Frankland raised to 1,200 from early position, with Alexander Yen calling on the button and Andrii Nadieliaiev defending from the big blind.

Andrii Nadieliaiev: 6♠4♣ All in
Mathew Frankland: 10♠9♠ All in
Alexander Yen: Q♦J♦

Nadieliaiev had middle pair, while Frankland held top pair and the lead, with Yen holding two overcards and a flush draw.
