Upon seeing the 6♣9♦3♦ flop, Nadieliaiev led all-in for about 7,000. Frankland moved in over the top for 16,400, and Yen called, giving him the chance to send two players for an early dinner.

The dealer spread the 5♣J♣J♦ flop, keeping Ladev's pair in the lead.

When the action checked to Savin on the K♦6♣3♥ flop, he bet 1,300 and was met by a check-raise to 4,000 from Kwan. Alexandridis got out of the way, while Savin called.

Kwan gathered up another bet of 4,200 on the 7♣ turn, and again Savin called.

Both players checked the 2♠ river and Kwan tabled A♠3♠ for a pair of threes. Savin had him beat with K♥Q♣ for top pair, sending the pot his way.

First, he jammed for a few big blinds under the gun and found a call from Umberto Vitagliano in the hijack.
