Wilson Bluffs it Off to Colaco

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Dan Wilson
Dan Wilson

Dan Wilson raised to 10,000 from the cutoff and Ivo Colaco three-bet the small blind to 22,000. Wilson called.

Colaco fired 15,000 on the Q36 flop and then 22,000 on the J turn, with Wilson calling both bets.

A final bet of 22,000 came from Colaco on the 2 river, and after using a time bank, Wilson jammed for 137,000. Colaco thought for a while, got an exact count from the dealer, and then announced a call.

Wilson sheepishly revealed 1010 for a bluff, losing the pot and being eliminated by Colaco's JJ for a set of jacks.

Hallner Goes Broke in a Limped Pot

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Tugce Hallner
Tugce Hallner

Tugce Hallner limped under the gun and Aleksander Da Silva Boski called on the button. Tommaso Briotti completed from the small blind and Claudia Bueno checked her option in the big blind.

After Briotti checked, Bueno bet 15,000 on the 1097 flop, which only Hallner called.

A bet of 20,000 came from Bueno on the Q turn, and it was met by an instant shove for 110,000 from Hallner. Bueno called and the players flipped their cards.

Tugce Hallner: QJ All in
Claudia Bueno: 109

Bueno had two pair against the top pair and straight draw of Hallner.

The A river was a brick, and Hallner wished the table good luck as she exited the tournament area.

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Nicholas Palma
Nicholas Palma

Anton Wigg committed his last 15,000 in early position. Nicholas Palma had around 35,000 in front of him and reshoved in the cutoff. Big blind Mihai Tabac had both covered and called.

Anton Wigg: Qx9x All in
Nicholas Palma: 55 All in
Mihai Tabac: KQ

"This is just what we need," Palma declared as he rooted for the board to brick on the AAJ flop and 6 turn.

The river came the 6, however. It double-paired the board, counterfeiting Palma's fives and giving the victory to Tabac's king kicker.

Aleksander Da Silva Boski raised in hijack and called when Claudia Bueno moved all in for 88,000 from the small blind.

Claudia Bueno: KK All in
Aleksander Da Silva Boski: 1010

Bueno flopped top set on the K2J flop, but now needed to fade Boski's flopped flush draw. The 4 turn was clean, and so was the 8 river, and Bueno doubled her stack.

Sindre Hansen

Mantas Liachauskas raised under the gun to 10,000 and Sindre Hansen shoved for 23,000 from the hijack. Dan Wilson made it 45,000 to go from the cutoff, which Liachauskas called.

With Hansen all-in, Liachauskas check-called a continuation-bet of 18,000 from Wilson on the K37 flop.

The 7 turn checked through before Liachauskas bet 16,000 on the 4 river. Wilson folded and Liachauskas turned over 99. Hansen showed A8 for ace-high, and he headed to the exit.

A big pot worth 250,000 was in the middle between Xiaosheng Zheng in early position and Anton Wigg in the cutoff, along with a 39475 board. Zheng bet 100,000, leaving only 88,000 behind.

Wigg then moved all in, covering his opponent by about three big blinds. Zheng snapped off the bet, revealing 99 for top set. Wigg could only show ace-high with AK, doubling up Zheng and leaving Wigg in critical condition.

Zabrodskyy Loses Most to Friberg; Kaukua Finishes Him Off

Level 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Vasyl Zabrodskyy
Vasyl Zabrodskyy

Vasyl Zabrodskyy had just lost the majority of his stack in a pot of around 600,000 to Erik Friberg. On the next hand, Toni Kaukua raised to 10,000 from early position and Zabrodskyy called for his last few chips from the next seat. Everyone else folded and the cards were tabled.

Vasyl Zabrodskyy: 109 All in
Toni Kaukua: QJ

Zabrodskyy was behind Kaukua's queen-jack, and the A8Q flop didn't help him much as Kaukua paired his queen.

Zabrodskyy did have a straight draw, but he wasn't able to hit it on the 7 turn or A river, sending him to the rail in the first level of the day.
