Before pulling in the pot, Carbo whipped out his phone to snap a picture of the straight flush that had sent Tavares packing. After getting the right angle, he finally got to work stacking the chips, taking his count past five million.

The 2♦ completed the board and Dwyer placed out a third bet of 350,000. Kozieja had to burn through a time bank before deciding to fold, giving up the pot to Dwyer.

On the first hand after the final three tables resumed play, Joris Ruijs raised to 80,000 in the hijack. It folded to Edward Pak, who called in the big blind.

Ruijs continued for 65,000 on the 7♣2♦3♠ flop, and Pak check-called. Ruijs kept barreling on the K♥ turn, firing for 275,000. Pak quickly check-folded this time.

The next hand, Lukas van Eeden received a walk in the big blind.

On the next deal, Pak raised his button to 80,000. Nicolas Chouity was in the big blind, and he three-bet to 320,000. Pak swiftly let his hand go, surrendering another pot.
