Barbara Akemi raised to 200,000 from under the gun with A♣8♣, and Manuel Ferrari called from the cutoff with A♠8♠. Xiaosheng Zheng responded with a three-bet to 850,000 from the small blind holding K♣Q♠. Akemi folded to the raise, but Ferrari stuck around.
Zheng continued for 500,000 on a 9♠K♥10♦ flop, which shook Ferrari out, who chose to return his cards to the dealer.

Dwyer check-called when Criado continued for 150,000 on the 3♥6♦K♦ flop, but when the A♥ joined the board, Dwyer opted to check-fold after Criado barreled for 425,000.
Once Dwyer's cards were in the muck, Criado showed the table that he had been dealt his new favourite hand again: pocket fours.
Manuel Ferrari was under the gun and raised to 200,000. Jose Criado three-bet to 325,000 in the small blind, and Ferrari four-bet to 950,000.
Criado quickly called, seeing the dealer fan the 6♦10♠7♠ flop. Ferrari continued for 550,000, and Criado check-called.
When the 10♥ turn paired the board, both players checked. Criado then bet 1,250,000 when the 4♣ river completed the board.
Ferrari swiftly called, but saw his A♥A♦ had been rivered by Criado's 4♠4♦. For the second hand in a row, Criado shipped a pot with pocket fours, this time cracking Ferrari's aces to near him in the counts.

The J♣ river double-paired the board, and Criado led out for 850,000. Ferrari folded immediately, but still got to see his opponent's hand, as Criado showed the table that he had flopped quads.
Barbara Akemi limped in from the small blind, and Manuel Ferrari checked in the big blind. The duo checked through the entire 10♣10♠7♣8♠J♦ board. Akemi showed A♠8♦ for two pair, winning the pot against Ferrari's A♣4♣.
The next hand, Akemi raised to 200,000 on the button with Q♠8♠. Michael Dwyer defended in the big blind, after which the 10♥6♦J♣ flop checked through.
Dwyer checked again on the A♠ turn, prompting Akemi to take a stab with a bet of 325,000.
Dwyer quickly mucked his cards, sending a second pot Akemi's way.

PokerStars has announced the return of Sunday Million Live, with the iconic online tournament making just its second live appearance when it heads to Casino di Campione in Italy from October 2-12.
Featuring a €250 buy-in Main Event with a €1 million guaranteed prize pool, like the original format, the tournament will use a hybrid setup, allowing players to qualify through both online and live Day 1 flights before converging on the shores of the Lago di Lugano for the business end of proceedings.
It marks the first time Sunday Million Live has been held since its inaugural outing in 2017 and forms part of ongoing celebrations at PokerStars, with the operator celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026.

Ferrari continued for 325,000 on the 8♥10♣4♣ flop, and Cimbolas called again. When the J♥ joined the board, Ferrari bet 1,000,000, and Cimbolas immediately called, putting his 925,000 stack at risk.

After Ferrari checked the 6♥J♣6♦ flop, Akemi bet 150,000. Ferrari raised to 475,000, and Akemi quickly folded to concede the pot.
At the other table, Jose Criado made it 200,000 on the button. Gerard Carbo defended his big blind, and the two friends saw the A♥3♥A♠ flop.
Criado tossed in a continuation-bet of 150,000, which Carbo quickly check-called. The Q♥ turn then checked through to the 9♦ river. Carbo led out for 450,000, which Criado snap-called.
Carbo revealed A♣8♣ for trip aces, but Criado had turned a flush with 10♥7♥ to win the pot.
