Braunhofer Holds to Survive

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

With roughly 4,000 already in the pot, and a 5K510 board dealt to a turn, Roberto Romanello had Manuel Braunhofer all in and at risk for his remaining 3,300 stack.

Manuel Braunhofer: Q10 All in
Roberto Romanello: Q9

The river 10 only served to improve Braunhofer to a full house, providing him a full double up.

Bad Beat Sees Montalban Eliminated

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Manel Montalban manoeuvred his roughly 18,000 stack into the middle preflop versus Alexey Logachev, in a hijack versus small blind confrontation.

Manel Montalban: KK All in
Alexey Logachev: JJ

The 68J flop was bad news for Montalban, as Logachev leapfrogged into the lead with a set.

There was no turnaround in fortunes, as the 5 turn and 9 river completed the board, and Montalban was eliminated.

Grieco Getting Involved

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

In the first hand back from the break, Nicola Grieco was facing a raise to 600 from the player under the gun. Grieco responded with a three-bet all-in for 11,500, and everybody folded.

The very next hand, David Benichou opened to 1,600, which only Grieco called.

Benichou opted to check on the 6AA flop, but sprang his trap when he check-raised all in over Grieco's bet of 2,000. Grieco folded.

The dealer shuffled the cards and dealt another hand. Once again, Grieco got involved.

With a limp ahead of him, Grieco raised to 2,300 before calling a three-bet to 5,100 from Javier Rodriguez. The rest of the table, including the limper, folded.

The monotone 7910 flop saw Grieco surrender another pot, as he folded to a continuation bet.

PokerStars Anniversary Series
PokerStars Anniversary Series

PokerStars is turning 25, and they aren't blowing out the candles quietly. The online poker giant has announced a month-long Anniversary Series running from May 10 to June 3, 2026, boasting a staggering $50 million in total guarantees.

The festival serves as a dual celebration, also marking the 15th anniversary of the Sunday Storm, one of the most iconic low-stakes tournaments in poker history.

Warp Speed

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

When the action folded to Manuel Braunhofer in the small blind, he raised to 800. Alexey Logachev wasted little time in three-betting to 2,600 from the big blind, which Braunhofer called.

Braunhofer checked on the 234, and with zero hesitation, Logachev immediately announced a bet of 3,000. Again, Braunhofer called.

The dealer added the 7 turn to the board, and when Braunhofer checked for a second time, Logachev continued the quick action and announced a bet of 10,000, enough to put Braunhofer all in.

Braunhofer folded, and Logachev flipped over A4.

Big Hitters Join the Field

River Bet Does the Job

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

The action was joined with roughly 7,500 already in the middle, and three players heading to a flop.

Seeing the 263, Jesus Hervas checked from under the gun, and Maria Konnikova followed suit one seat to his left. Julijan Ivanc responded with a bet of 2,200 on the button, which only Hervas called.

Both players checked on the J turn, and the 6 river completed the board.

Hervas took his time in deciding how best to proceed, ultimately placing a bet of 7,500. Ivanc took a similar amount of time to make his own decision, before deciding to return his cards to the dealer.
