Bartolome Back In, Eychenne Building

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Pedro Bartolome bought back in, having recently been eliminated, and got straight back into the action with a raise to 400 from early position. Thomas Eychenne was the only player who called, defending his big blind.

Eychenne check-called a bet of 600 on the 7KA, but when Bartolome saw no reason to slow down on the Q turn, Eychenne check-folded to another bet of 1,200.

Ravi Sheth
Ravi Sheth

In the final hand of the previous level, Ravi Sheth opened to 400 from middle position. Action folded to Jun Lin on the button, who three-bet to 1,200, which Sheth called.

The dealer spread a Q710 flop, on which Sheth check-called a continuation bet of 1,000.

Sheth check-called again on the 4 turn, this time matching a bet of 3,000 from Lin.

When Sheth checked for a third time on the 10 river, Lin waved the white flag.

Sheth flipped over AJ for ace-high, and Lin mucked his cards.

Angelakos Holds, Elamawy Eliminated

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante
Sameh Elamawy
Sameh Elamawy

With roughly 15,000 already in the pot, three players were on the turn of a 1058J board.

Dimitrios Angelakos manoeuvred his stack into the middle from the big blind, having both other players covered. Abdullah Turan folded from under the gun, but when action was on Sameh Elamawy, he confirmed the tournament allowed one reentry and then called.

Sameh Elamawy: 55 All in
Dimitrios Angelakos: 97

Elamawy had flopped a set, but Angelakos had snatched the lead on the straight-completing turn.

The river was the Q, which was no help to Elamawy, who was eliminated.

Turan then slammed his chips off of the table, claiming he folded a flush draw.

Matheus Machado opened the action with a raise to 300 from early position, which Franck Bartolucci opted to three-bet to 1,200 from the small blind. The big blind folded, but Machado called.

The dealer spread an aesthetically pleasing QQQ flop, and when Bartolucci continued for 1,000, Machado folded.

The very next deal, Machado raised to 300, this time from under the gun. Artem Shaganov called from the cutoff, and the small blind came along too.

Machado continued for 300 on the AQ2 flop, which only Shaganov called.

Both players checked on the Q turn, seeing the dealer complete the board with the Q.

Machado bet 400, but immediately folded when Shaganov raised to 1,200.

Antanov First Casualty of the Day

Level 1 : 100/100, 100 ante

The action was joined as Sergiy Antanov was all in from the big blind, having been left with just a handful of big blinds from a previous altercation. Three other players had made it to the 926 flop, but small blind Timur Sattarov thinned the field with a bet, and Antanov was heads up for his tournament life.

Sergiy Antanov: 43 All in
Timur Sattarov: 96

The 3 turn and 8 river had no effect, and Antanov was the first to be eliminated.

One seat to Sattarov's right, Julien Sitbon is sitting with a stack of 56,500, indicating he caused the bulk of the damage to Antanov, prior to his elimination.
