Andriy Lyubovetskiy open-raised to 2,600 in early position. Arthur Conan upped the ante to 10,200 on the button, which Lyubovetskiy four-bet to 23,600.
Not to be outdone, Conan reraised again, this time putting in 46,000. Lyubovetskiy went deep into the tank, but he gave up on the pot and mucked his cards when the clock was called on him.
Rodrigo Selouan opened to 2,500 from under the gun, which Sylwia Studniarz called from the button, enticing the big blind to join in too.
Both the big blind and Selouan folded on the 2♥K♦7♦ flop, and Studniarz bet 3,000. The big blind folded, but Selouan check-raised to 14,000, which Studniarz called.
Selouan continued with a bet of 35,000 on the 10♣ turn, and, undeterred, Studniarz stuck around.
The dealer added the 3♠ river to the board, and Selouan went for it all, moving all in for roughly 115,000. Crucially, the bet was for slightly more than Studniarz's remaining stack.
After taking some time to consider the situation, Studniarz announced she was folding, but took a picture of the board before the dealer pulled all the cards in.
Suwei Yang opened to 2,500, and Fabian Bartuschk flat-called. Jean Chicheportiche then three-bet to 11,600, prompting Yang to move all in for 52,000.
Bartuschk quickly moved out of the way before Chicheportiche called with the covering stack.
Suwei Yang: Q♠Q♥
Jean Chicheportiche: K♠K♣
Yang did not improve on the 2♠8♦4♦10♥6♥ runout, and he tapped the table before exiting the tournament area.
On another table, Will Kassouf was spotted with a stack of two and a half times the average, putting him among the leaders in the room.
Andrej Tekel opened to 2,500, gathering calls from Nikolakis Panagiotis in the hijack and Diana Kalietina in the big blind.
All three players checked on the 7♥8♠6♥ flop, prompting Kalietina to lead out for 5,500 on the 6♦ turn. Tekel folded, but Panagiotis called.
The river brought the A♦, and when Kalietina checked, Panagiotis put a bet of 13,000 into the middle. Kalietina called without hesitation and beat J♣10♣ with her A♥4♦.
Level: 10
Blinds: 600/1,200
Ante: 1,200
The board was dealt up until the turn and read K♣4♦6♠9♠ when Blaz Zerjav checked from the hijack. Renzo Pedrotti then bet 35,000 into the 70,000 pot, sending Zerjav into thought.
After a few minutes, Zerjav surrendered his cards to the dealer. Pedrotti was awarded the pot, and he flipped over the J♥ while raking in the chips.
Tom-Aksel Bedell raised to 2,500 in middle position, and Franck Makaci responded with a three-bet to 6,500 in the cutoff. Thomas Rauhut cold-called in the small blind, enticing Bedell to follow suit.
Both Rauhut and Bedell checked to Makaci on the 7♥2♦K♦ flop, who bet another 6,500. Rauhut folded immediately, and Bedell didn't waste much time in returning his own cards to the dealer.
The action was caught on a 6♠3♠9♦ flop. Sylwia Studniarz checked from the big blind, prompting Rodrigo Selouan to add 12,000 to the 30,000 pot from middle position.
Studniarz responded with a raise to 30,000, which Selouan quickly called. The 8♦ turn saw Studniarz quickly move all in for 71,700. Selouan asked for a count, but folded his hand upon hearing the correct number.
Studniarz then tabled A♠J♠ for a flush draw, and Selouan admitted he had folded a pocket pair.
