Stoica Doubles in Blinds; Bonus Busted by Binder

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Markus Bonus
Markus Bonus

Thomas Eychenne open-shoved from the small blind, and Roman Stoica put himself at risk by calling off his stack of 300,000 in the big blind.

Roman Stoica: A9 All in
Thomas Eychenne: 44

Eychenne's pair remained ahead on the 3JQ flop and 6 turn, but the river brought relief for Stoica as the A granted him a double-up.

Meanwhile, Markus Bonus' Main Event came to an end as he was left without chips at the feature table.

After an open-raise to 50,000 and three-bet to 150,000, Bonus burned a few time banks before deciding to shove his last 195,000 in the middle holding AQ in the small blind. Bernhard Binder, in the big blind, then took a minute before five-betting to 395,000 holding the preflop nuts, AA.

The other two players folded, their hands were tabled, and Bonus saw he was in bad shape. The board ran out 8392J, bringing no miracle for Bonus, and he took his leave while Binder took his chips.

The 7 river was then checked to showdown. Rizov sheepishly showed 84 for a pair of eights, but Zeiter had the higher pair with his K10 to be awarded the pot.
