Mitch Garshofsky Eliminated in 10th Place (€81,650)

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Mitch Garshofsky
Mitch Garshofsky

A hand after taking a big hit against Tomas Jozonis, Mitch Garshofsky shoved for his last 870,000 on the button and Sami Bechahed called in the small blind. Julien Mariani was all-in on the outer table, and they waited for the conclusion of that hand before turning over their cards.

Mitch Garshofsky: 77 All in
Sami Bechahed: QQ

Garshofsky found himself dominated as the flop came 532, but the 9 turn gave him some hope with a flush draw. "One time," he said, but the Q river only improved Bechahed to a set to send Garshofsky to the rail in tenth place.

The remaining nine players are drawing for seats at the final table.

Jozonis Goes Runner-Runner Against Garshofsky

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Tomas Jozonis
Tomas Jozonis

Tomas Jozonis was first to act and opened to 200,000. Mitch Garshofsky called in the small blind, and Sami Bechahed defended his big blind.

The 85A flop was checked to Jozonis, who continued with a bet of 175,000. Garshofsky just called before Bechahed moved out of the way.

Both players then checked the 9 turn, and the J was subsequently put on the table as the river. Garshofsky fired a bet of 500,000, which Jozonis reluctantly called.

Garshofsky tabled 55 for bottom set, but Jozonis had made a straight with Q10 to be awarded the sizable pot and leave Garshofsky short.

Schneiders Getting Shorter

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Felix Schneiders limped in from the small blind, and Enrico Coppola checked his option in the big blind. Schneiders checked twice on the JQ8 flop and 2 turn.

Coppola checked behind on the flop but fired a bet of 175,000 on the turn. Schneiders quickly folded.

One hand later, Schneiders opened to 200,000 on the button. Table leader Nazar Buhaiov was in the big blind and put Schneiders all-in, leading to another quick fold.

Coppola Can't Get Value From Two Big Hands

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Enrico Coppola raised to 225,000 on the button and Julien Mariani gave up his big blind. Coppola let out a loud sigh as he took down the blinds and ante.

"Show me," Mariani told him, and Coppola revealed AK.

The next hand, Coppola raised to 225,000 in the cutoff and Juris Ruijs called in the big blind.

Both players checked down the KK7A7 board, and Coppola showed 1010 to win the pot.

Abreu Takes More From Jozonis

Level 29 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Jorge Abreu opened for a size of 200,000 in middle position, holding AK. Tomas Jozonis put in a sizable three-bet to 900,000 from the big blind with A3, and Abreu called after inquiring about his opponent's stack.

The flop fell 910K. Jozonis checked to Abreu, and Abreu checked back. The A was then dropped as the turn. Jozonis kept up the passivity with another check, but Abreu fired a bet of 650,000 with his two pair.

Jozonis correctly let go of his top pair as Abreu took a bigger lead over the rest of the table.
