Gogniat Puts in a Four-Bet

In a three-way limped pot, Thierry Gogniat bet 50,000 from under the gun on a flop of K♥7♣5♠ and was called by Jorge Abreu and Raphael Bilger in the blinds.

The turn was the Q♣ and Gogniat bet another 225,000. Abreu folded, while Bilger also turned over the 7♠ and tossed it into the muck.

The next hand, Julien Mariani raised to 100,000 in the hijack and Abreu three-bet to 285,000 in the cutoff. Gogniat four-bet to 525,000, and both Mariani and Abreu folded.

Jorge Abreu raised to 100,000 in middle position. It folded to Jessica Teusl in the big blind, who three-bet to 450,000. Abreu quickly folded.

On the next deal, Abreu made it 100,000 to go in early position. Thierry Gogniat came along in the hijack, but folded when Abreu continued for another 100,000 on the 10♣Q♣10♠ flop.

A couple of hands later, Julien Mariani limped in from the small blind, and Abreu checked his option in the big blind. The J♥10♦K♥ flop checked through to the 10♠ turn, where Mariani bet the minimum of 50,000.

Abreu called, after which the 6♠ river was checked to showdown. Mariani tabled J♣8♥ for two pair, winning the pot when Abreu mucked his cards.

The flop came J♦8♣7♠ and Coppola bet 175,000. Buhaiov called, and the A♥ fell on the turn.

Coppola then bet 350,000, and Buhaiov again called. Buhaiov checked to Coppola once more on the 8♦ river, and this time Coppola slammed the table and checked back.

Buhaiov showed Q♠J♣ for two pair, and Coppola mucked 7♦2♦.

The flop came Q♣3♥7♠ and Bechahed continued for 60,000. Gogniat then raised to 225,000, and Bechahed reraised to 425,000. Gogniat folded, and Bechahed took the pot.

The next hand, Raphael Bilger opened to 135,000 on the button and Gogniat continued his aggression by three-betting to 445,000 in the small blind. Bilger folded, and Gogniat recouped some of his chips.

Abreu showed 5♠3♥ for a rivered straight, besting the 7♣2♥ of Bilger.

Sami Bechahed raised to 100,000 under the gun. It folded to Jorge Abreu in the cutoff, who upped the ante to 275,000. Bechahed debated his options, but settled on a fold before the end of his shot clock.

One hand later, Julien Mariani made it 100,000 in middle position. Abreu tossed in another three-bet, this time to 300,000 from the hijack.

Mitch Garshofsky then quickly four-bet to 800,000 once it had folded to him in the big blind, getting snap-folds from both Mariani and Abreu.
