No More Moorman

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Niall Farrell, as he likes to do, opened the pot for 2,700. Martin Finger likes to three-bet in position and he made it 7,900. Chris Moorman is not averse to a a cold four-bet jam and his 18,500 stack went in the middle.

Farrell folded and Finger called. Moorman turned over {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} but this time Finger had him with {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}. The final board read {6-Spades}{2-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Moorman was eliminated.

Farrell said he folded, “The kings killer, ace-queen.”

Wrong Direction For Niall

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Philippe D`Auteuil has done a bit of damage to Niall Farrell’s stack in the last half hour. Not long ago D`Auteuil was in the small blind and on the river of a board reading {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and made a bet of 11,000. Farrell flicked in the call and was met with the {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a rivered straight.

A while later on the flop of {8-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{2-Diamonds} Farrel check-called a 4,600 bet from D`Auteuil but on the turn card {9-Diamonds} a 14,500 bet saw him give it up.
