Spanish pro Andoni Larrabe, who plays on PokerStars under the handle 'Pollopopeye', has just been knocked out. The November Niner got his final 30,000 chips into the middle before the flop and he was called by Miltiadis Kyriakides.

Kyriakides: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}
Larrabe: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The board ran out {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Larrabe shook some hands as he received good luck wishes for November while he exited the tournament room.

Deadman Gets Clubbed for Gory Ending

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Simon Deadman
Simon Deadman

On a flop of {K-Spades}{A-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, Simon Deadman had called Marko Neumann's initial 6,500 bet before Viacheslav Goryachev check-raised to 15,000. Neumann got out of the way and Deadman set the Russian all in for his remaining chips.

Goryachev: {Q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Deadman: {A-Spades}{6-Spades}

The {Q-Spades} on the turn gave Goyachev some additional outs and the {K-Clubs} on the river secured his double up. Deadman remains ove the quarter-million mark though.

Govert and Out

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The level of old school cool has just dropped down a bit as Govert Metaal has busted the Main Event. There had been a few calls of one open when a player called Metaal’s shove. The action remained open however and when it folded round to Dori Yacoub he re-shoved and despite a bit of a dwell up he got it heads-up and cards were on their backs.

Metall had {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Yacoub the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. The board ran out {j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{a-Clubs}{5-Hearts} with the turn delivering the ultimately fatal blow.

Pineau Doubles Big Through Greenwood

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The board read {J-Spades}{2-Spades}{K-Hearts}{A-Clubs} when we found Yann Pineau all in and at risk for his tournament life against Sam Greenwood. The pot already held over 90,000 and Pineau was at risk for his last 69,400.

Pineau: {J-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Greenwood: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

Greenwood held top two pair but was currently the owner of the second best hand as Pineau's flopped set of jacks reigned supreme. Pineau looked to dodge an ace or a king on the river and he did exactly that as the {2-Clubs} completed the community cards.

Greenwood was forced to send a solid chunk of change to the opposite side of the table while Pineau increased his chip stack to right around 230,000.

Huge Pot For Aido

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Sergio Aido on Day 1b while seated next to Adrian Mateos
Sergio Aido on Day 1b while seated next to Adrian Mateos

After losing several pots Sergio Aido was knocked down far below the comfortable stack he once had. The pot that he just won put him back up over his previous high and Aido now finds among the biggest stacks in the room.

The action started on Mohamed Jaber who raised under the gun to 4,400 and Aido three-bet to 11,200. Jaber called when it got folded back to him and the flop brought out {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

Jaber lead out on the flop for 11,300 and Aido raised it up to 25,000. Jaber gave it some thought before making it 50,000 and Aido made the call.

The turn was the {J-Hearts} and Jaber moved all in right away for 88,600 chips. Aido called with a look of disgust on his face, but the hand he was up against made him feel a lot better.

Aido: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}
Jaber: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The river brought the {K-Spades} and Jaber was knocked out as Aido had him covered by a few thousand chips.

Shannon Shorn of Chips

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Shannon Shorr
Shannon Shorr

Game over for Shannon Shorr, the American was crippled in a previous hand and his last 12,000 went in preflop against microstack Andre Dos Santos with Miguel Riera calling and covering both from the big blind.

Dos Santos: {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Shorr: {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Riera: {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The board came {K-Clubs}{A-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Dos Santos managed to triple up, Shorr finished in third-place and was knocked out.
